Karma || Karma Akabane X Reader

Chapter 1

"So you're the new chick huh?" You turned to find the owner of the voice, only to find the red-headed guy himself. "You volunteered to transfer here yourself?"

The conversation sparked everyone's interest as they were expecting your answer.

Before you could open your mouth to speak, he cut you off. "Or did someone dump you here like a piece of trash?"

'Interesting...'

"You're not half-right, mister. But I prefer the term 'relocated'. Considering the fact that I'm still on the ranks." You sassed as you squinted your eyes to this intriguing character.

"Oh…" he said sarcastically. "And what a name you've made for yourself, evil goddess. Makes me want to challenge you in a game of wits." 

You smirked as you recall the events that happened just before you entered the classroom. When this guy in front of you just did the same thing with your teacher's tentacle, you couldn't help but refrain your jaw from falling for seeing such a clever trick. Just enough to make you feel that he's a formidable opponent, just as he's a reliable ally.

"I accept your challenge —"

"Akabane Karma."

" — Mr. Akabane. I hope you don't mind losing. "

He smirked and inched closer to you. "I assure you that you'll be eating your own words. What should I call the evil godess who will bow down to this mortal?"

You chuckled. "L/n Y/n."

"Well then Lady L/n, I expect you here after class. If…" he paused and made his way to the door. "… you are brave enough. "

You found his arrogance a little smexy for your own liking but either way those looks of him would probably make you turn down that challenge and date him instead.

You bit your lip, overwhelmed by his character.

You smiled as you made your way to Koro-sensei's office. Formulating the perfect plan you would need to steal Akabane Karma's heart.

As you both went your separate ways, murmurs and squeals rang throughout the classroom.

"Do you think Karma is interested in Y/n?" One of the girls asked.

"Yeah! And I think the evil goddess here shares the same feeling." Someone answered.

A squeal happened to erupt at another's throat. "The sadistic king and the evil queen? Oh my god, I ship them!"

"Guys calm down. It's obvious they're going through some rivalry stuff." Someone reasoned.

"Yeah and that rivalry is the start of their love story. I'm sure of it."

You knocked at the office door as Koro-sensei answered it.

"Well hello there, Y/n. Is there something that you need?" He asked as you sat at one of the chairs.

"I just want to say sorry for earlier. It wasn't my plan." You answers, looking down.

"Let me guess, you need something?"
