There once was a girl who was always too kind,
Not to mention, she had her own mind.
She always wore a smile and was helping out,
No one ever saw her in doubt.
She cared way too much,
About her family, her friends, everyones feelings and such.
Everyone assumed she was all good,
Because she smiled and laughed as much as she could.
Though she is drowning,
In her own sadness and now she's always frowning.
No one seemed to ask if she was okay,
They just pushed her aside like she was a stray.
All she wanted was someone to hug her and to listen,
But no one saw her cause she didn't glisten.
Her skies just turned grey,
And she started to fade away.
She wished she didnt care that much cause now she feels like a ghost,
Though those who care too much always get hurt the most.
The girl who cared too much.
