Night Before.

♡Helenas POV♡

I finally got tickets for Daniel Skye the tickets were VIP & original. The original tickets were for front row and I was excited.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by a loud crash from downstairs I quickly ran to the sound and found my little sister Sarah huddled in a corner and my dad therw stuff at her.

I walked over to Sarah and put my body as a sheild around her. I whispered to her and said move towards the stairs with me and go to my room and lock yourself in the bathroom please.

She asked," what about you." She looked at me with tear filled eyes as i said don't worry about me just get to a safe place in the bathroom.

She nodded her head and got up I walked sideways to protect her from any flying objects. Soon we were at the stairs she ran up them and I tried to go with her but I was pulled back.

Next thing I know I'm on the ground and my dad is over me he looks at me and says," you little bitch you think you can get away that easy well think again."

Then he hits me reapeatedly but soon my hands find the handle of a pan. I grab it and hit him in the head he backs away so I take this as a chance to get up.

When I'm up he pulls out a knife I run to the baseball bat in the corner and grab it. He swings at me but misses so I hit his knee like I'm hitting a pitched ball.

Next thing is he's on the ground and holding his knee. I run upstairs and grab two suitcases and start packing mine and Sarah's stuff. Soon both rooms are emptied of our belongings and I have Sarah in my arms.

I pull both suitcases behind me and run to the car. I sit Sarah in the back and toss our stuff in the trunk. I run back in and get lots of food and drinks.

Then i ran out and hopped in the car. I drove all night to Atlanta so we could be there it was 1 in the morning and I found a hotel.

The doorman came and helped me get things to my room. I tried to give Riker (drmn) a 20 but he wouldn't take it.

He smiled at me then said," my shift is about over after it is I will come up here and stay with you so you can sleep and I will watch Sarah."

I smiled and said, you are to kind how about you go to the Daniel Skye concert with me today @4pm he shook his head and left to go clock out.

I walked over to the bed and got up on it and Sarah came and curled up on my lap and fell asleep.

A little later Riker walked in and came to sit beside me on the bed. He looked at Sarah and asked," how old is she?"

I smiled at him and said she just turned 5. He looked at me and said," but your only 17 and you have a 5 year old?" I laughed and said she's not my daughter she's my little sister.

He smiled and said," oh good I didn't feel like being an uncle yet." I laughed and said I honestly didnt think we'd see each other again after you moved.

He looked at me and said," well I'm here now and I'm glad i ran into you." I smiled at him and laid my head on his shoulder as he put his arm around me.

I started to drift off as Riker pulled the blanket over all three of us. I curled up into his arms he said," I'm glad to have my bestfriend back."

I laughed a little and said me to and fell asleep in his arms. I felt at piece with my life now that blue was gone and I had my best friend to help me.

I loved having my best friend back she looked so peaceful now that she was away from that abusive prick.
