Lyric and Ethan have both seemed off since last night. Lyric barely talks to me anymore. Only when I ask a question. Even then she replies simply and quietly. There's this feeling in my gut that she's keeping something important from me. But then again I always overthink myself so I try to brush it off.
God damn those blue eyes. I can't get over them. I can't get over her. The way her eyes sparkle when she smiles. Her freckles, holy fuck her freckles. The way her nose crinkles when she laughs. The way her eyebrows scrunch together when she's deep in thought.
This girl, she was the girl of my dreams. Though it may sound cheesy it was true. She's like a catchy song that I can't get out of my head. She's like this beautiful drug, dangerous but I want her so much. I know this could end up in heartbreak, but loving her would be worth the pain. I want to be the one to wake up and see her and not a pillow. Her beautiful blue eyes and messy brown hair. I want to hear Her uncontrollable laughs when I make the stupidest jokes. I want to be there to wipe away the tears some stupid made present. I want to beat up anyone that tries to hurt her. I want to love her. I want to protect her from all the bad in the world. I want her.
"Dude we gotta pack." Ethan says walking into the hotel room.
I sighed. I was leaving the only girl I've ever loved.
"Eth, I can't leave her." I choked out. Why the fuck was I crying? Was she really doing this to me?
Ethan sighed. "Gray we don't have a choice. We have the awards in two days and we need to be there." He says sadly.
"Trust me I don't want to leave either." Ethan admits.
"But why can't we bring her?" I suggest. Even the thought of leaving her brings pains to my chest.
"We just can't."

I was sitting on lyrics bed while she takes a shower when her house phone starts to ring. I decide to ignore it, letting it go to voicemail.
Lyrics voice starts talking as the phone goes into voicemail.
"Hey it's lyric! Sorry you missed me. Call me back or leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can."
I laugh at her cute voicemail and scroll through my twitter feed, bored.
Another voice starts talking through the phone.
"Hello Mrs.Caster this is Doctor.Halis calling about you're next appointment for your leukemia treatment. I-" I didn't dare listen to the rest of the voicemail and I quickly turn it off, not wanting to hear anymore of it.
She fucking has cancer.
She fücking has cancer!!
Tears start streaming down my face, as I try keeping my breathing even.
"Gray?" Lyric's small voice calls from the other side of the room.
I quickly wipe my eyes and turn to her smiling.
"Hey." I speak our clearing my throat.
"Your eyes are bloodshot... gray what's going on?" She breathed out, she looked scared like I was going to say something horrible.
"You have leukemia?" My throat dried up as her blue eyes widened.
"Yes.."
