I wrote this at 2:18 in the morning listening to music so it might be a rough draft so to speak.

I slid the mask over my head and watched my friends so the same. What we were doing was highly illegal but we made a promise and today it was going to be fulfilled. I went into the back of the bank entering through a cracked open door, our inside man had left us. Taking out the security guard was easy as I carefully pulled his unconscious body into the broom closet before heading to the security room. It took only seconds to disable the alarms, cameras, and the secret button that would notify the police.

I radioed for my friends to enter the building and begin the heist. Screams and yelling could be heard all around the building, I shut the blinds and locked the doors as my buddies started getting the vault open. The people on the ground were scared even the kids, I sighed wishing it would had never come to this. I needed the money to get Destiny and me to Canada where I knew people who would take us in.

After ten minutes we had duffle bags filled with cash, we quickly ran to the back alley and jumped into the getaway car and sped off. We soon arrived to an abandoned old house and got out glad to be done with the whole ordeal. We went in and counted the cash we had collected, one million dollars in total. We all smiled and split it four ways before changing clothes and burning the ones we took off including the masks.

One thing was for sure I wouldn't have to look back only forward to the new life me and Destiny will have. We all laid low for a little bit before heading out, I was dropped off last without as much as a word. That was what we promised, when we had to robbed the bank at a moments notice we do it then go our separate ways. I walked into Hope's house and was greeted with a tight hug from Hope herself. I hugged her tightly back with one arm and gave the top of her head a kiss. She was the only person who knew about the heist and I was grateful that she understood everything, I know for certain I will miss Hope to my core.
