Chapter III (Creeping Out)

'What is he doing here?'

'Aww.. why did the creep has to be in my class?'

'The same class as ours... seriously?'

Aisa's heartbeat going faster as the words around her seems to fade out of her hearing. Hey, everyone would get a heart attack if they are on the same class as a creep.

Again.

Just as I about to drift into another thoughts, the teacher voice ringed through my ears. "Ok then, I'll make sure to put you in my roster. You'll be the last person so you are number 27, behind Irman Jin." She said pointing to the empty spot behind the blondie. Epi bowed again and took his schedule from his teacher and walked to his spot, not before giving Aisa another glance as he walked by her. Ais looked down, feeling uncomfortable as she made eye contact with him. She hated that. Making eye contact with people was her biggest pet peeve. Not only did it annoy her at times, but it would make her feel uncomfortable.

"Daaaa~!" Epi called as he bro hugged Irman. "Sup dude."

"Damn you saved me bro, I thought I was gonna be alone in this class haha." Irman commented and he grabbed his chest dramatically.

"Shut the hell up!" Epi said laughing as he rolled his eyes at his friend's little cringeworthy act.

Epi composed himself and turned to Aisa's way and smiled to himself. Urin looked around and caught Epi staring at Aisa. Epi noticed Urin's stare and turned to her. He pushed his orange hair back smiling from ear to ear and winked at her. Urin gulped lightly in fear and smiled awkwardly back. Epi laugh to himself and looked at his feet.

"This is going to be a fun class."

Urin turned to Aisa and tapped her on her shoulder. Aisa turned around to her friend, "What's up?" She asked. "Yah, I just caught that new kid Epi staring at you!" She whispered in a squeeling creeped out voice. Aisa laughed nervously but didn't dare to look towards Epi's way. "Hey! Maybe he has a thing for you!" She said. "Look Urin, I know you're more comfortable around the weirdos, but I'm not." Aisa joked. Urin pouted and crossed her arms. "Whatever, I'm hungry."

After the coach explained all the rules she led her class to the gym. Since school started in the beginning of August, the heat was unbearable. The students sighed in relief as the cool air from the gym hit their bodies once entering the door. Aisa and the girls decided to sit up in the bleachers and cool down. Aisa sighed and rested her chin on her hand that was propped up on her knee. "The more I think of it, maybe high school isn't going to be as fun as I thought it would be." Aisa puffed out her cheeks in frustration. Lan's loud squeal brought Aisa back to reality and decided to pay attention to the dying friend hoping she had something better to talk about than her boring thoughts.

"Guys, can we just talk about how cute that Irman kid is!" Lan said clutching at her chest as she watched the flower boy play basketball with Epi in awe.

"He reminds me of mochi ice cream." Urin commented, tilting her head to the side.
"How hungry are you?" Liz asked.

"..VERY."

"..Clearly." Liz said rolling her eyes.

"CleArLy." Urin repeated sticking her tongue out at Liz, getting the same action from Liz in return.

"So immature." Lan said rolling her eyes and giving her full attention to Epi who was clearly dazed watching Epi play basketball.

"He's cute." Lan said resting her chin on her hand and stared at the game in front of them as well.

"Huh? What? ...Oh, haha.. sure. Yeah." Aisa said pouting.

"He clearly was staring at you Aisa. Don't think Urin was the only one who noticed. You should try talking to him, get to know him ya know?"

"I'm honestly not that interested to be honest with you. He seems annoying and creepy and his green hair bothers me. Like who in their right mind would dye their hair green??And his staring problems are just another no no."

"Jeez! So rude!"

Lan and Aisa laughed together at Aisa's rude comment while the other two continued to fight about God knows what.

The bell finally rung and the mob of students poured out of the gym towards the cafeteria for lunch, with Urin as the leader, dragging her friends towards the food.
"Yah! Aisa Lant!" Aisa let go of her friends hands and stopped in her tracks as she turned around to face the person calling out her name. Epi walked towards her flashing his ear to ear eye smile. Aisa face palmed herself mentally and sighed. "What the hell does this kid want from me?" She forced a smile and called out for her friends to wait for her. Urin grabbed onto Lan's arm in excitement as she watched the scene before them.

Epi stopped in front of Aisa and rubbed the back of his head laughing nervously. "I ughh.. was j-just wonder-dering if you w-wanted to have l-lunch together, y-you know to get to know each oth-other?"

"Why would I want to get to know you?"

Epi's smile fell and the sound of Liz face palming herself echoed through the cafeteria.

"Oh.. ugh.. you k-know because w-we have classes t-together."

"So? Then lets get to know each other in those classes." Aisa shrugged finally turning her body to fully face Epi. "Not to be rude or anything but I understand where you're coming from, trust me I really do, but it's the first day of high school and I want to have lunch with my friends. Maybe you should go do the same."

And with that Aisa did a 180 turn and walked back to her confused and angry friends.
Epi stood in the same spot flabbergasted at the females response. He laughed to himself when he finally processed the whole situation and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Ah~ This girl. She's, she's something else." He stared at Aisa walking away with her friends and landed his eyes on her soft silky smooth hair-

"Yah Epi!"

Epi turned to his 6 friends waving at him to come over. He fixed his backpack from his shoulders and walked towards them with a small grin.
"She's definitely someone to mess with."

Hello! I'm back with another update!

I'm sorry if the beginning is a little boring but please bare with me! (╥﹏╥)
I have a lot of great ideas for this story but I just wanted to sort of introduce the characters first and basically write about how they are if that makes sense haha
But what do you guys think so far? Aisa is soo rude cx poor Epi :(

Oh! And also I know that my story looks plain right now but I expect to change the cover sooner or later so please bare with the ugliness in the mean time T.T
