Loyalty

Rainbow Dash The Element of Loyalty groaned, "oh... my head..." she says as she stands up, her head was pounding she had no idea how long she was out cold or how this happened.

Rainbow stood in a cloud like place but she knew it wasn't Cloudsdale she gazed up at the sky to see dark blue color with the sky shifting a little Dash thought she was dizzy or something but the sky was shifting, Did she die? was this heaven? All Rainbow Dash could remember is she got dizzy and passed out now she's here... what is this place? Rainbow Dash gasped in shock as she looked down the ground... it feels like glass and by looking through it you can see Ponyville below the cyan pegasus banged her hoof on the ground to see if anypony can notice her "Hey!! everypony! I'm up here! help! its me Rainbow Dash!" she shouted but all the ponies just continued their normal tasks not hearing Dash's calls "Nopony can see us..." says a voice and Rainbow jerked as she glanced around quickly "huh? who said that?" she asked "I did..." it replied and Rainbow put her hooves up in a fighting pose "alright! if you think catpuring me is a funny joke then come out! lets see how tough you are!" but the voice only laughed "oh Rainbow Dash please calm yourself I did not catch you I called you here" but Dash wasn't buying it "save your talk when your begging for me to not kill you! why did you catch me!?" she asked, "For the second time I did not catch you I called you here" It said, "how in the hay can you do that?" Rainbow questioned "I am... the creator of the Tree of Harmony" then silence came... until... "wait... What!? No... I don't beileve you! prove it!" Dash said and then the voice came into pony form it seems to be made out of water and it sparkles with light a rainbow glow "My name is Harmony like I said... I created the Tree of Harmony" the voice has a mystical friendly tone Rainbow can't seem to sense any evil or disharmony it must be safe... Dash finally settled down "I don't understand... how?" she asked "I'm made from this very water the flows from Equestria in way I am Equestria... I made it..." she said making Rainbow Dash more confused by the mintute "you made Equestria!?" she said with her mouth hanging open, Harmony noded "yes... and..." she started as she took out seeds that have a bright rainbow color "these are the seeds I used to plant the Tree itself" she added, "oh... but... I'm mind blown... your the god of Equestria" Rainbow said taking a bow "no need for that Rainbow Dash" she said and Dash stopped bowing "yes I made Equestria land and all but I knew for creating a magical place there is always evil awaiting so I made these seeds and made the Tree of Harmony which are the Elements of Harmony with these Elements of friendship... Equestria was kepted safe then I chose the rulers because I must be secret... not even Celestia knows me... I cannot expose myself to disharmony if I lose control Equestria is put in great danger thats why I chose ponies to raise the sun and moon... Celestia and Luna thats how Equestria stays in Harmony" Harmony explained leaving Rainbow in... awe "wow... but why am I here?" she asked "every Element of Harmony comes here at a point..." she says "are you saying more Elements?"

"yes before you and your friends there were other ponies who had these Elements of Harmony"

"thats just awesome! but still it doesn't answer my question..." Rainbow said trailing off.

"your here to be tested to see if your the true Element of Loyalty many ponies with this Element came but all failed."

This made Rainbow Dash a little nervous what happens if she fails? she gulped before replying "How is this test going to work?"

"Like this" but to Rainbow's surprise Harmony wasn't a Alicorn of any kind but made a water like mirror came in front of her she was clearly powerful being able to do magic without having a horn "Whats the most important thing to you?" Harmony asked, "my friends of course!" Dash replied and a wavey picture of friends came on the water mirror "Whats your passion?" Rainbow chuckled as she gave her wings a flap "Flying! its what keeps me alive! its a part of me" then another water mirror came and Dash stared at her reflection and she put her hoof over her mouth in horror "m- my wings! where are my wings!?" she said in panic "don't worry its not your real reflection but this is a part of your test" she said "what kind of sick test is this!? scaring me like that!" Rainbow shouted "its not meant to scare you its to test your loyalty" she said

"Well... how?" she asked

"These mirrors will change your path choose one... go on the right to have your wings and to continue your flight passion or go on the left to be with your friends but lose your wings forever"

Rainbow Dash looked at both mirrors... its either stay flying or lose flying to be with her friends... either choice is bad... This is a hard choice she loves both her friends and flying... it been her dream to be a Wonderbolt or even the best flyer in Equestria... but having Twilight and the others has changed alot... in fact she wouldn't even be the Element of Loyalty without them, Dash finally made a choice... she took a deep breath "I choose... Neither" Harmony closed her eyes "why Neither?"

"Because I would go for my friends normally but... even if I am loyal to them... choosing myself to lose my wings is like being unloyal to myself and my wings helped me to stay loyal to my friends in many ways and saved their lives at points making either choice would be a unloyal act" Rainbow Dash explained she stared at Harmony who had a emotionless face, Rainbow began to sweat... was that a bad choice? did she fail? Harmony finally spoak up she grinned "Good work Rainbow Dash... what you said is true... and nopony has ever said neither before and that was the key to this test... the answer was neither" Harmony said, "I passed?" asked Rainbow and Harmony noded "Yes!! but... what happens now?"

"Time to move on to the Next Level" Harmony said as the two mirros faded away and replaced with a bright golden door "Go through it and goodbye Rainbow Dash... you are Loyalty and I'm proud" Harmony teleported away in a water form, Rainbow took a step closer to the door... whats going to happen if she goes through? Well... guess Dash is going to find out, she opened it being blinded by the light she let her mane go over her eyes as she ran through.

Rainbow Dash gazed around... she's in front of the enterance to Ponyville so... she's back? Then a red light flashed in her face, Rainbow gasped... it was a chest... the chest landed in front of her, it was a red chest with the loyalty mark in the middle, Dash blinked is this a prize? Dash opened it and her eyes went wide as she saw what was inside a key she picked it up a golden key lightning bolt with a rainbow glow... Rainbow Dash remembers something... she saw that glow before! first it was around Harmony and before... it was around that 6 key chest that came from the Tree of Harmony! so... is this a key? but earning this key what does it have to do with going to the next level? maybe this key is more important then she thought... so she's the true Element of Loyalty now? is she something speical now? Guess Dash's questions will be answered at a point but now time to think about this key... what does it mean? she stared at it as it gave a rainbow flash.
