We pulled up outside the restaurant and found an open booth to sit it. The waiter brought us our menus, and gave me a flirty wink. Now he was pretty cute but nothing compared to Derrick, not that I would ever tell him that. When we were ordering he wouldn't even look at Derrick only at me, which made me sort of uncomfortable. Derrick even looked mad. When the waiter finally left Derrick just kept staring at me.
"What's wrong? Don't let him make you mad. I don't know why he was staring at me. Is there something on my face?" I asked him. He looked at me like I had grown a second head and then started howling with laughter. I just sat there with the most confused look on my face. Two minutes later he finally calmed down.
"He isn't making me mad but you really don't know why he was staring at you?" That question only confused me further. I had no idea, I thought he was just being creepy.
"I thought he was just trying to be creepy." That resulted in another howl of laughter from Derrick, causing me to laugh too. The rest of the dinner was uneventful, just us making jokes and predicting how college would go.
We left and headed to the hotel to get our rooms. But as luck would go, there was only one room left with one king bed.
"Do you just want to share princess?" I was so tired, I didn't even care. I just needed a soft bed to sleep in.
"Yeah. I really doesn't matter to me." He got the keys and grabbed two of our many bags out of the car. The room was really nice. There was chocolate on the bed and they had silk pillow cases.
"Can I get the bathroom first?" I asked him. He looked at me and then to the bathroom, it looked like he wanted to run for it. I grabbed my bag and ran for the bathroom door, only to look back and see him try to hurdle the bed but instead fall face first on the floor. Leaving me rolling on the floor in tears from laughing so much. I finally got up and went to go check on him.
"Princess. You can have the bathroom first." I laughed at his response.
"Of course I can. Your too sore to get up right now and I beat you to the bathroom." I said with a chuckle and a smirk at the end. I jumped in the shower and changed into my pajamas, a comfy crop top and some sweatpants. He was already in the bed asleep on the right side, making me smile. Whenever he would sleepover when we were younger he would always sleep on my right side in his sleeping bag or on the floor wrapped in a comforter.
"Good Night Prince" I said to him and got under the covers.
