"How are you feeling, Kook?"

And he could assure that that was the best good morning he could ever get, especially because he knew it was from Lisa— who stayed up for him for at least three days, wasting Blackpink's break to take care of him, even though they weren't friends.

It had been a while since he woke up, and everything felt extremely light by the time he did. He couldn't think and act straight for the past few weeks he was half-asleep, but now he was.

The pain on his body didn't stay. It wasn't even numb anymore, on the contrary, he felt like floating.

And it was maybe because he was, indeed, floating.

"So, you died. I regret it now." Lisa says, pure sadness on her brown eyes.

Jungkook wanted to hug her and he probably could, but a part of him restricted him to do so— so what he did was, he looked at his surroundings.

People wearing all black, mourning.

Jungkook looks below him, to where blood-colored flowers were everywhere, accompanied by a few white ones— he hoped and he prayed, hoped that this was a huge dream, prayed that he wasn't in the casket. A part of him wanted to look away but a part of him was curious to whoever might be in the casket.

But he looked anyway.

And he saw hisself, pale, not breathing, and obviously dead.
