Did He Really Want. . . Me?

I was inches away from meeting them, when he looked at me. . .

Wes Stromberg introduced himself and asked my name. "My name is Tiffany Scott."

I sounded so embarrassed. Wes said my name was cute. . . And that I was "cute."

Did he mean that like adorable little girl cute or the girl at school every guy

wanted cute? To shy to ask him, I blurted out, "You're cute too!" Goodness I'm

so stupid.

"Would you mind hanging around after the show?" Wes had asked me. I was stunned.

"Yeah, sure. Why not." He smiled at me and went back to the picture area. I was

up next.

"Next!" the security guard had called out.

I walked up and stood by Wes, he smiled and before we took the picture, he

kissed me on the cheek. Now I get to own that picture. Wow. The security guard

sent me to a table to get my pictures and then that was it.

During the concert I sang along with every song, I knew all the words. Then it

was the end of the concert. Should I go back? Did he really want me?

I figured I might as well. I walked back and the security guard told me I

couldn't. But Wes came to my rescue and said I was with him.

"Do you do this at every concert?"

"No."

"So why start now?"

"I  don't know, you seem different, I want to get to know you. Do you live here, in LA?"

"Ya?" This was very off. . . Guys don't talk to meet often.

He asked for my number and said he would call later. He's on your nothing is

going to happen, right?

He called me the next day at around 2. He asked if I wanted to go surfing. I

told him I didn't know how to surf. He started to laugh a bit then said I will

teach you. I said okay then he said " its a date." and hung up. Date? he said

date.. with me?

He called back and said to meet him tomorrow on Laguna Beach at 11:30 for our

lesson..

I can't believe this is actually happening. . . to me.

I have to look my best tomorrow. But first, I need a shower and to get a good

nights sleep.
