Naruto's POV

I was sleeping soundly in the middle of my nap, dreaming of ramen, just when i was about to meet the Ramen King, Iruka my owner woke me up.

He shook me hard. I was a deep sleeper so i accepted when he did this. I sat up, out of my covers on the large bed, rubbing my eyes gently from the sun light coming from the open curtains. I turned around to Iruka's smiling brightly at me.

My height was Irukas hips, so I am really small. That's how all pets are after all, while Iruka is a human. He found me in the forest where i nearly died out of hunger and he saved me. It thought a while to trust him and I kept hiding but now i trust him completely.

"Naruto..." He called out my name.

I smiled brightly at him, my ears perking up and my tail circled my waist. He smiled back and patted my head, I purred as his fingers ran through my sensitive ears.

I couldn't talk to him. It's an animal code that every pet knew. You could laugh, and make other noises, but you were not allowed to talk to a human, only nod and try to use your body to say. I always smiled at him which meant things were fine, and i frown when I am not.

But, us pets have all the things humans have. We're only short, reaching to their hips, have tails and ears but we do understand them and they know. The tallest pet was up to a grown mans shoulder.

I stood up yawning on my bed, my arms stretching in the air. I jumped off the bed, and I followed Iruka downstairs to the kitchen and living room joined. I felt a huge smile light my face as I smelled Iruka's homemade late lunch.

I quickly walked to the dining table and hopped up on the chair and sat down comfortably. Since we're so small, i had sit on books piled up on the seat.

I watched with shining eyes as Iruka delivered the Ramen to me, and I straight away dove in. Iruka always watched me when i did this and he laughs softly, he never gets bored watching me eat.

After me and him finish, he looked down at me.

"Hey Naruto," He got my attention and he knew that by me looking at him and picking my ears up.

"You know Kakashi-san ?" He asked and i nodded back while stuffing my face.

"He too has a pet named Sasuke Uchiha...." He observed me closely. "And he wanted to bring Sasuke here, he has been asking for months, but I was worried about you being afraid. But if I were to invite them over today... would you be alright with that?" He asked.

I blinked. 'Months? And I was stopping him?' I felt guitly for some reason. I thought for a second, biting my inner lip.

'I wouldn't mind having another friend...' Naruto thought brightly, 'And Ikuka wanted this for months... '

I smiled and nodded, agreeing from them to come over. His eyes widened and he ran to me and hugged me tightly.

"Thank you, Naruto" He laughed in joy, "I'll go call him now" He quickly ran off and grabbed his phone and dialled Kakashi's number.

*Ring ring ring ri-*

'Iruka -chan..?' I heard Kakaski say through the phone. I saw Iruka's cheeks redden and I sniggered. Iruka heard me and blushly slightly more .

" Eh, Kakashi, I have great news! Naruto agreed for Sasuke to come" Iruka said happyly.

I heard Kakashi shout with joy through the line, and I laughed softly, "FINALLY!"

"TELL NARUTO I SAID THANK YOU!"

Iruka walked over to me and he held the phone to me. I blushed but I leaned over to it purred softly into the phone as a sign of your welcome. A few seconds later a shout bristled through the phone, frightening me.

"AAH NAR- " Suddenly there was a loud shout of meow and the phone call ended .

Iruka sighed. "Must be Sasuke.." He put his phone down.

"Naruto, change out of your Pj's and wear your normal clothes, Kakashi and Iruka are coming today at... 7pm" Iruka looked at his watch.

"It's 6.03, go change now" He spoke.

I pouted and jumped off the chapter and landed softly on floor. We don't have paws at all, just normal human hands and feet, though it doesn't hurt when you land. I stood up and put both of my hands behind my back and walked lazyly towards the stairs.

'I have an hour left, I have time....' I thought as i lazyly took my first step up the stairs.

"NARUTO WALK FASTER!" Iruka shouted at me and before i knew it, I was up at the top of the stairs in sweat.
