Chapter 4
I got up to get dressed, and the terrible memories started resurfacing. I winced and looked for my ipod, trying find a way to distract my mind.
"Ughh I hate it when my mom comes in here to clean, she totally messes everything up!" I muttered under my breath, continuing the search for my ipod. "Finally!" I thought when the hot pink of my ipod case popped into view under a stack of some books. I grinned and went to grab it, knocking down a book in the process. Cursing, I bent down to pick it up...but fate didn't miss the oppurtunity to get me while I was weak. My heart stopped abruptly when I realized what exactly karma had thrown into my grip. My middle school yearbook. And with that, the memories flooded in.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" I asked my huge group of best friends as I sat down for lunch on that cold January day. "Oh look, it's our resident b*tch. Ignore it and maybe it'll go away!" was the startling response I got from Carly, as the rest of the group sniggerd along with her. "What the hell guys?" I asked, confused. "You," started Serena, "Are a b*tch!" continued Sandie. "Wait wait wait! What The Hell did I ever do to you to make me as b*tchy as you are saying I am?!" I exclaimed.
"Oh, it's not what you did to us," she said, wearing an expression that had "I know something you don't" written all over it. "Yeah. It's what you did to Steven," Serena smirked at me. "You guys are just making me even more confused!! I. DIDN'T. DO. ANYTHING!!!" I had practically screamed. "Ughh she'll figure it out eventually. Let's go guys," Carly said, and with a roll of her eyes and a flick of her hair, was gone. The rest of the group followed quickly, leaving me alone with my thoughts, and to wonder what, exactly I had done.

I came to trembling. Looking down at the time, I realized that I would more than likely be late for school, and cursed loudly. "Stupid memory problems...," I muttured as I rushed out my bedroom door. "About time!" my mom almost blew my eardrums off. "I was beginning to think you'd died!" she exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and hopped in the car, ready to begin just another one of my exciting and mind-blowingly wonderful days at school. NOT.
