Jinxx's POV
I wake up only to see Jake towering over me.
"Holly shit Jake!"
I shout falling out of bed.
"What?"
Jake says so innocent.
"Like I said, Holly shit! You scared the shit out of me!"
I say.
"Your starting to smell too."
"Shut up!"
I say throwing my pillow at him.
"Ow."
Jake says.
I roll my eyes at him, get out off the floor, and grab my skateboard, and phone.
They never let me skate at Abraxas center, so I'm out!
"Where you going Jinxx?"
Jake asks.
"Where's it look like I'm going!"
I shout scrambling out the door.
"What's his problem?"
Ashley asks.
"Jinxx, was it something I said?!"
Says Jake.
"I'll go after him."
CC says.
"CC, what are you doing?"
Ashley asks.
"Gonna get Jinxx."
"What?"
Andy says.
"He's going to go get Jinxx."
Says Ash.
A couple minutes later, what do you know, I see CC over my shoulder.
"Shit! Why does this guy care about me so much!"
"Jinxx, stop!"
I hear CC shout from behind me.
"Get the hell out!"
I say.
"Don't talk to me that way. Where were you going?"
CC says.
"To the skatepark."
I say popping my earbuds in playing 'New Religion' by BVB.
"Well, you could have told one of us."
"Why, so you could leave me there, and send me back to foster care!"
I say popping my skateboard back up to me.
"What? No. No. Why would you think that?"
Says CC.
"Because."
"Because why Jinxx?"
CC says.
"That's always how it is. They take you, beat you, and send you back."
I tell him.
"Jinxx you know that's not true. Your situation is unique."
"I understand."
I say leaving for the skate park.
I head down to the skate park, and who do I see there..... Cody! Of all people, I see Cody! Cody!
"Jinxx! Hey, Jinxx!"
Shouts Cody.
"Hey."
I say with a bit of sarcasm, and totally no giving a fuck about this dip-shit. I know what your probably thinking: I thought you and Cody were good friends, I thought you liked Cody.
Well, Cody hasn't been there for me, so.
"Jinxx, what's up?"
Cody asks.
"I should be getting a dirt bike."
I say. No I didn't lie!
"Cool, what kind?"
"Kawasaki."
"What- what color?"
Cody asks.
"Black."
I tell him.
"Of corse!"
He says.
"I'm kidding! I'm kidding, it's yellow. Yellow and black."
"Sweet."
Cody says.
"Thanks. I also got adopted by The Black Veil Brides!"
I tell him.
"No way in hell!"
"Yes way!"
"Your lying."
Cody says.
"No..... I'll prove it!"
I say taking my phone, opening my camera, and snapping a picture of Andy and I, and send it to Cody.
"Fuck'n shit! You really did! Well that's pretty cool Jinxx."
"Thanks. I know. I had enough of my dad."
I say.
"Wanna go skate the half-pipe?"
Cody asks.
"Hell yeah!"
I say.
"Let's go!"
We shout as out boards wheels grind up the cement.
I see Jake.
"I gotta go Cody. Sorry."
I say.
"Okay- bye?"
Cody says.
I leave with Jake in a hurry.
"What the hell do you want?"
I say with a bit of an attitude.
"I want to know what's going on with you."
Jake says as we walk.
"My dad said he's gonna come find me if I don't come home, and I miss Holly!"
"Who's that?"
Asks Jake.
