Two hours later

I step out of the bathroom behind the girls and am thankful we are done. I look down at my outfit and smile. I actually like it.

I say,"Before we even go to the club, I need to dye my hair."

Thea smirks,"I know just the place to go."

We leave the Arrowcave and head to a limo. We get inside and it starts driving. We stop and get out. I keep my head down just to be safe. When we get inside of the building, I lift my head up. I'm in a salon.

Thea calls out,"Charlie."

A woman comes out and her and Thea hug.

Thea says,"My friend needs a dye job."

Charlie looks at me and asks,"Let me guess."

She looks me over and says,"Silver."

I am shocked and she says,"But we'll go a dark white instead."

I nod and she ushers me to a chair. She puts something on the edges of my face and then begins dying my hair.

An hour later, I step out of the salon with my new hair. We head back to the car and get in. We head to the club and Iris looks at me.

I ask,"What?"

She replies,"What's with you and that Rene guy?"

I blush and say,"I'm pretty sure, nothing."

Iris asks,"Pretty sure?"

I reply,"Yesterday, I was injected with a drug called Vitura. It's a mind bending drug. Whatever someone says to you, it's stays."

Iris asks,"What do you mean?"

I reply,"If someone says you are supposed to go to bed at seven at night for the rest of your life you would."

Iris seems shocked and I say,"Yesterday, the man that was robbing a bank, he injected me the drug and told me I was to have feelings for Rene."

Iris urges me to continue and I say,"Iris, I'm married. My husband is Roberto Reyes."

The girls gasp and I say,"I might have feelings for Rene. I might not. I don't know. What I do know is, one, I love and miss my husband. Two, Senator Nadhir is trying to kill me. Three, I just want to forget about it all, get fucking drunk, and sing some songs. Not necessarily in that order for that last one but yeah."

The girls laugh and we stop. I look out the window from where I'm sitting and see Rene and the guys standing outside of Verdant. My heart picks up and I look away.

I say,"If I end up having feelings for Rene, I'm going to be fucking screwed. I love Robbie."

Iris says,"Forget about everything tonight and have fun."

I nod and they get out. Rene comes over to the door and holds out his hand. I take a deep breath and place my hand in his. I look down to know where to place my feet as he helps me out. When I look up, there's a barely audible sharp intake of breath from Rene.

I smile at Rene and say,"Let's make it rowdy up in this joint."

Rene places his hand at the small of my back as we head up the steps to Verdant. We head inside and I instantly have a green drink in my hand courtesy of Thea. I throw it back and see the girls have a booth. I walk over and sit with them. The guys join us and Rene sits next to me. I hear a wailing noise and clap my hands over my ears.
