Chapter One--- memory

Jake POV
I'm a demon and I'm high ranking of course, my job is to kill the most dangerous hunters in the region they have been causing a little trouble and need to be taken care of, I'm on my way there now with my friend Jane "Jake we have to kill the hunter quickly if we don't this one will rip us apart" Jane said as we got to the house, I could since four strong powers coming from the house "I know Jane, I'll go in and if I need backup I'll call for you, then you rip him apart and kill fast" I said and she nodded then a man smashed through the door he had a grey hat on with triangle shades, he had a sword in his hand "I can fucking since you!" he shouted at me and Jane then we looked at each other shocked.

"The plan stays the same" I say and stand up and walk out of hiding and up to the man "ay hunter" I said and made my eyes glow a bright green he acted quickly slashing a sword at me I dodged and he swung a punch at me hitting me in the face, it didn't hurt to badly and I swung back cracking his shades then three little kids peeked through the doorway my eyes met with one of them and I felt my heart skip a beat and I could barely breathe he wasn't waring shades like the man I'm fighting, he showed his eyes, he's just a kid so I get why he doesn't hide them but it shows he's a hunter... yellow his eyes are yellow so beautiful, I felt a sharp pain in my chest and I looked to the man who drove a sword through my chest "Bro!!" yelled the boy with yellow eyes "Dirk get Roxy and Dave and go hide lil man NOW!" Bro the man I'm fighting said to the yellow eyed angel and then he got out a gun as the boy Dirk got the other two little kids and ran "Jane" I shouted and she came and attacked Bro.

Dirk POV
I'm 6 and so is Roxy but Dave is 5 only a year younger but I'm in charge when Bro isn't around, I ran up the stairs holding Roxy and Dave's hands pulling them with me "keep running guys we need to run" I said and got to Bros room and pushed them into the closet and closed and locked it "Dirky what are you doing?!" it was Roxy from in the closet "nothing I'll be right back stay quiet and watch Dave" I said and grabbed a sword from under Bros bed then grabbed a pair of his shades and put them on and ran down the stairs and out the door to see two demons attacking Bro the one with green eyes stared at me for a second but then went back to trying to kill Bro, I attacked the blue one who was closest to me since she was hurting Bro the most and the green one seemed to not care.

She tried to claw at me but I cut off her hand and sliced at her as much as I could and I kept focused and on the move so she couldn't attack enough to hurt or kill me but she was fast way to fast I could barely keep up "Dirk get your ass inside!" Bro yelled at me so I turn and looked at him.. bad move.

My sword was no longer in my hand the demon took it and stabbed it through my back I can see the tip of the sword in front of me I gasp for air as I feel the pain move through my body "Dirk!" Bro yelled and shot the demon behind me who had the sword, she fell to the ground with a loud smack then turned to dust it must have hit her in the weak point "Janey!!" the green demon yelled and was about to turn probably to kill Bro when he looked at me, he didn't notice before and I don't see why he would care but he looked scared and shocked as he saw my blood fall and hit the ground I fell to my knees and my vision started going blank the sword was still sticking through me but now I'm numb and can't feel it "...Bro?" I said taking in a deep breath
........and then my world went completely blank.

Bro Strider POV
"...Bro?" Dirk said and passed out fucking damn it Dirk!! I turn and shoot twice at the demon in front of me, he didn't dodge or move he was frozen his eyes glowed a bright green as he stared at Dirk as he slowly dies I need to hurry the fuck up, the bullets hit the demon in the shoulder and side I'm looking for his weak point to shatter him, then in a blink of a eye the demon was right next to Dirk I ran over to the demon and hit him to the ground pinning him with a knife to his neck its taking all my strath to keep him down "I need to save him let go of me" the demon said and struggled "touch my brother and you'll regret it" I hissed and sliced the demons neck, the knife should burn him and cause pain but its doing nothing.

I hear Dirks breath go ragged and stop a few times out of normal and the demon reacts his fangs growing and tail appearing "I will fucking kill you let me go!!" the demon shouted and I grabbed my gun and put it to where his heart is "have fun in hell" I said and pulled the trigger the demon screeched and cot on fire then disappeared and some of the fire burned my leg, this won't kill him it will only banish him for a few years then he'll be back.

I turn and look Dirk and then i go over to him and check his pulse "come on little man come on" I said then felt the pulse he's alive! I pick him up and carry him inside and quickly take care of the wound.

After two hours Dave and Roxy are in the room they share with dirk crying, Dirk hasn't woken up yet and they fear the worse and so do I "god fucking damn it" I said and took my hat off and ran my hand through my hair then I put my hat back on.. Dirk will not die.. I won't let this happen-  "B- Bro?" my thoughts were interrupted by Dirk "oh my god lil man your alive" I hugged him then I got pissed and pulled away "if you ever be stupid like that again I'll kill ya" I said and he rubbed his eyes, I took the shades he had on off of him they suited him though to be fucking honest "I don't remember anything from today or how old I am..." he said groggily "what..." I said and he looked at me puzzled "how old are you Dirk?" I asked and did the best I could to keep the worry out of my voice "I'm not sure...4?" he asked and I looked in his eyes this means he knows nothing about demons "nah lil man your six" I said and he gave me a look.

The demon from earlier won't get another chance to hurt my kids I'm going to train them hard and we're moving to another area... "Dirk we are moving" I said then went and got the other two kids.
