Chapter Two

Dirk POV
I'm 17 and me and my family live in a pretty nice area not many people around but its nice I live with my Bro, Dave, and Roxy and the four of us train twenty four seven, right now I'm in school hanging out with my best friend Jake who I met when I was 16 so just last year, he moved to the schooling system and became my friend and to be honest I have a crush on him.
Ha and just like on cue Jake nudges me to pay attention and I glance over at him through my shades then lean close to his ear and whisper "I wish you would walk to the front of the class already" I said and he shivered but tried to hide something, he rolled his eyes and whispered back "ay is that supposed to be a joke about me being a know it all?" he asked and lightly but playfully glared at me I shook my head no and whispered "I just want to see you and your nice ass walk up there" I said and smirked.

Jakes eyes seemed to get brighter green after I said that and I could feel some type of power but I don't know what it is and I was about to ask about it when the bell rang and Bro came through the classroom door pissed to all hell "Dirk Martha Strider!!" he yelled and I flinched away from Jake making a good distance away because I'm not aloud to be near him even though I don't get it, Bro said he doesn't remember why only that he has a bad feeling and to shut the fuck up and listen to him, Jake glared at Bro then turned away not making eye contact "hey um Bro" I said quietly then the teacher put a hand on Bros shoulder before he could start yelling at me "mister Strider, Jake and Dirk are lab partners so they will be acquired to finish the project at home" she said happily and Bro crossed his arms then nodded quietly keeping a poker face "Roxy and Dave are in the car hurry you two we're going home" Bro grumbled and me and Jake grabbed are book bags and followed him to the car and got in.

Jake POV
I got in the car, in the back seat and sat next to Dave, and Dirk sat next to me with Roxy in the front seat and Bro driving, I want to claim Dirk as mine his sent his eyes his heart I want him I may be a demon but my heart beats for him.. its strange but I can't help it, I remember when I first saw him as a little kid in the door way, his eyes met mine it was like magic.. but why doesn't he remember and to be perfectly honest I came back to kill Bro, I thought Dirk was dead.. it haunted me the whole time.

I got magic that masks my power so that the hunters can't since me, Dirk must be a full hunter by now... so many years went by so much time waisted "hey Jake we're almost to my house" Dirk said quietly in my ear his hot breath on my skin oh it makes my body heat up all over, I relax my body and I look at Dirk and I see a glow reflecting off his shades then I realize those are my eyes!! Gog damn it! Dirk stares at me for a long moment and I made my eyes turn back completely, he stays quiet and doesn't say a word.

When we get to Dirks house its completely different a whole new place and it looks well protected "Dirky are you feeling okay?" Roxy asked from the front seat "uh... yeah" Dirk said and bit his lip looking away from me and turning his attention at Bro.

Bro POV
I park the car and get out, I hate bringing Jake here, I have no memory of him but I know he's a demon, not a high ranking one but he's still a demon and he's still after one of my kids! "Dirk, Dave, Roxy go clean up your training gear" I said and Dirk gave me a worried look but listened anyway.
