Black and White. Those were the only two colors you knew. You hated life right now. You were in your twenties and in college and still hadn't found the one. Your mom always bothers you about it. She saw color when she was 5. Her whole life, she knew color because your dad and her were best friends and neighbors. You had a brother too, he saw color for the first time when he was 10. And here you are, 20 years old and have never seen color.
"Welcome class." You were in a criminal law class. You wanted to become a lawyer. You were stuck with Professor Keaton. She is a very intimidating woman but she seems like a very good professor. "Take your seats. And look at your syllabus."
"Hi, I'm Alexander." The guy next to you whispers. "You can call me Alex." He sticks his hand out for you to shake it.
"I'm Y/n-"
"Hey, stop flirting." The professor aims at you an Alex talking. The class chuckles and you blush. "Now, today we will start by going over the basic rules and policies of criminal law." The class goes by quickly and at the end Alex invites you to his dorm to hang out with him and his friends.
"Actually, I have yet to go meet my roommates. So i'll pass for today. I'm yours tomorrow though?" You ask.
"That sounds like a plan. It's Dorm 120 in Building 6" He smiles and you part ways. You were in Dorm 203 in building 3.
You were at the moment, near building 5. So you weren't too far from your building. As you walk you look around. What does the world look like when you find him? What would that tree look like? What about their eyes? You wanted to see the world in a different perspective and you might just be in the group of people who never see color. As you walk into your dorm, you notice no one is there. No sign of life at all. You might not have a roommate. I should've taken that offer. You said to yourself. You take this time to unpack anything you need to unpack. After that, you make a trip to the dorm Alex told you. Why not go? You had finished what you needed to do and it was too early to go to bed."Y/n, you came!" He greets you with a smile.
"Yeah, I don't have a roommate apparently so I decided to come." He moves aside for you to walk in.
"Okay guys. Meet Y/n. Y/n meet Hercules, call him Herc and Lafayette, call him Laf."
"Nice to meet y'all." You smile.
"Nice to meet you too." Lafayette kisses your hand making you blush.
"Laf, leave her alone." Hercules pushes him back.
"Nice to meet you. I ask everyone I meet. Have you seen color yet?" He shakes your hand.
"No, have you guys?"
"Me and Alex have. Lafayette is the only one who hasn't here. Oh and John."
"Oh, Who's John?"
"He's our friend, he's stuck in North Carolina for another week." Alex informs you.You hang out with them until like 10. Lafayette insists on walking you to your dorm since his was near yours.
"You know, I can tell you're impatient." He says in his thick french accent.
"What do you mean?" You ask him.
"You want to see color. Just be patient." He smiles. He's right. You just have to wait for it.A/n, okay. So I will be writing this story, and Runaway. As you've probably noticed, I do my stories in Pairs. If I do anymore, I get overwhelmed. Just remember, you can always check out my other stories and if you already have. Well, just bare with me. ;))))
