FORGOTTEN MEMORY'S ( SHANNON LETO)

CHAPTER 5

I cooked us dinner whilst Jared played with Jack. I walked into Jack's room and just smiled. They were playing as knight's trying to kill a dragon made from a pile of box's.

Once they had slayed the dragon they did a victory lap around the stuffed animals, they were the people from the village they just saved.

Me" Ok hero's dinner is ready". We all sat at the table enjoying our meal. Jared couldn't take the smile off of his face. He was really good with Jack, he loved having a child in his life that was blood.

After dinner Jared helped me bath Jack then put him to bed. Me" Ok what story tonight" J" Mummy can uncle Jared read me a story" JL" I would love to". Jared hopped in next to Jack. Me" Ok goodnight my little knight". I kissed his forehead then left them alone.

I did the dishes and cleaned up any toy's that were lying around. It had been 30 minutes so I went to see how Jared was going with putting Jack to sleep.

When I walked in the room I saw them jumping on the bed. JL" And the dragon swooped down and..". Jared noticed me standing at the door with my hands on my hips.

They quickly hopped down and jumped under the covers like nothing had happened. JL" And the princess and the knight lived happily ever after. The end". Me" Nice try" JL" Sorry got carried away" Me" Yeah I could see that".

I looked at Jack and his eye's where wide open. Me" Well I guess your not going to sleep any time soon are you". Jack shook his head. Me" Ok you can watch a movie" JL" Really?" Me" It will put him to sleep".

Jared and Jack got comfortable under a blanket on the couch. I put Madagascar 3 on, Jack loves it. Mainly because at the end they have coloured wigs on, and they are all covered in white with coloured spots like 30 seconds to mars new albam cover.

I new that Jack would be asleep before the movie ended so I allowed them to watch the film clip fist. Jared had never seen it before so he was amazed in what the were dressed up as.

Once the movie started I went and did some paper work in my office and left them to it. I came out before the movie had finished and saw them both asleep.

Jared must of felt Jack drifting off so he layed down with Jack in front of him facing the tv, but must of fallen asleep himself. They looked pritty comfortable so I left them there and went to bed myself.

In the morning I woke to a bang. I wasn't sure at first what it was, till I heard it again. It was the sound of a pan coming from the kitchen. I got up and went to see what Jared was doing to my kitchen.

As I got closer I could smell burning. Me" Your not trying to burn down my house are you?" J" No just the pancakes, like always". Me" Well best you let me do it then. I make the best pancakes".

I cooked a pancake and it was perfect just like I thought it would be. JL" Your right, you really are better". I began the next one and there was a knock at the door. JL" I'll get it".

Jared opened the door and there stood Shannon, he looked pissed. S" Oh ok so that's how it is, I pass out from drinking too much and you make your move" JL" calm down it's not like that. I just wanted to spend time with my nephew" S" What?" JL" Charlie got the call last night. Congrats bro your a dad".

Shannon came running in, picked Jack up spinning him aroud the room. Me" Oh stop Jack is eating he may vomit". Shannon stopped and just smothered him with kisses instead.

Me" I'm guessing Jared told you" S" Yes". He said with a big smile on his face then came towards me. He spun me around a kissed me. I almost dropped the pan on the ground, he made my head spin. S" I knew it".
