We pull up to a big house. We get out of the car and I hear people laughing and talking inside. God why am I so nervous? I'm normally outgoing.

"Ok I can tell that you're nervous. Don't be. I'm sure they'll like you. I'm almost positive. Just chill out." Em says to me before we walk in.

As we enter the house, some girls walk over to Em giving her hugs.

"This must be your cousin! Emerson always talks about you. It's so nice to finally meet you! I'm Bailee." A medium sized brunette says to me. She hugs me and pats me on the back. I'm not so nervous anymore.

So more people walk over to me and greet me. Her friends are so cool and nice. Where are those twins she was telling me about?

As I'm thinking, I feel Em take me to the kitchen. I don't know why. I guess she wants to talk to me. I'm
about to ask her why when she brings me to the twins.

"Hey I'm Ethan" "And I'm Grayson" They look so much alike. It's crazy. And they are so fine damn!

"I'm Melody, but I go by Mel"

"Well nice to meet you Mel. Emerson has told us so much about you! It's great to meet you!" Ethan says. Grayson is just looking at me. Not saying anything. I notice Ethan is about to say something, but he elbows Grayson instead.

"Oh yeah, it's nice to meet you." I smile and Em takes me back to the group. As we're walking, I hear Ethan say my name to Grayson.

"Really bup. That's all you could say"

"Yeah"

Alex and Aidan yell for Grayson and Ethan to come in the room. I'm busy talking to Bailee and Neriah about Tennessee. They noticed my southern accent. It's just like Ems.

As Ethan and Grayson walk into the room, Grayson keeps looking at me. Staring actually. I turn my head and he immediately looks away.

"Hey we should have a bonfire. It's getting dark" Emerson says

"Yeah that sounds fun! Eth, gray, are you down?" Bailee says as they leave the room to go outside.

Finally the bonfire has started and I grab my sprite because I hate coke and Pepsi.

I sit next to Em. She has her head on Ethan's shoulder and they're holding hands. She never told me that she's dating him. I'm sitting next to Grayson and he's just staring at the fire. I decide to talk to him. I tap his shoulder and speak.

"So how long have you and Em been friends"

"Since she moved here. Me and Ethan were her first friends she made here. She said she was from Tennessee. You live there?"

"Yep. I've lived in Johnson city all my life. It's perfect there."

"Oh. I've always wanted to go to Tennessee. Oh and I love your accent!"

"Thank you" I say as I smile. Me a Gray hit it off. We talk about our interests, family, and basically what new friends would talk about. He's very cool and nice.

Eventually the bonfire ends and Em and I have to leave. She is still holding Ethan's hand.

"It was nice talking to you Gray." I say

"It was nice talking to you. Um can you give me your number so we could talk more?"

"Sure!" I say as we exchange phones and put our numbers in. Em taps my shoulder and tells me we need to go and I turn back to gray and give him a little hug and tell him bye. As I turn around, Ethan is hugging Em and he kisses her forehead. Are they dating or....

I say goodbye to everyone else and walk back to Ems car.

"So are you and Ethan dating?"

"No, were just friends but I think he wants to be more"

"No shit Sherlock. He looks at you like you're his world! Go for it boo!" I say and she looks down at the wheel and smiles.

When we get back to the house, Aunt Karen has food ready and Uncle Chase is sitting on the couch watching tv. We eat our food and Aunt Karen asks if I had fun and we just talk more.

When I'm done with my food, I go upstairs to my room and get ready to take a shower. I look at my phone and see that Grayson texted me.
