I stay crouched in the alleyway and wait for a text from my lover. I continuously flip the blade of the pocket knife open and closed. Of course it'll loosen the blade on the handle, but it's better then sitting here doing absolutely nothing.

Suddenly my phone buzzes in my pocket and I look at the notification. It's a text telling me it's ok to come over. I pack my phone into my bag and keep my hand on the knife just in case I run into trouble on the walk over to his place, to see him more.

A Few Minuets Pass

I finally get to the house and I look across the street at my house, yes we used to be neighbors before he moved. It was quiet nice.

"Hey, are you coming?" a hushed voice asks.

"Huh? Yeah, sorry." I reply

"You ok?"

"Yeah...just thinking on what it'd be like at my house without me once I had ran off."

"Well, you're not, you'd promised me you'd stay till you finished school in 2019."

"Yeah, yeah.."

I set my bag down on the ground and hug my boy. The rhythm of his heartbeat was calming, even though it was a bit fast. I could tell we both were nervous, yet happy to have each other in our arms. I rest my head on his shoulder with a little smile, but feel tears well up in my eyes. He tightens his hold on me, having felt the change in my breathing, of trying not to cry.

"Hey now..." he says gently, as he lifts my chin up.

"I'm sorry..I just have missed you.." I say.

"I've missed you too babe, but please, don't cry."

"It's all just coming out now..I've bottled it all for a long time...sorry.."

"Shush, quit apologizing."

"Ok, I love you.."

"I love you too, and please again, no more crying?"

I nod as he continues to gently hold my chin up. I look into his eyes, and he looks into mine. He then tilts my head to the side, and our lips touch. I tense for a moment then relax, as he rests his hands on my waist. I rest my hands against his chest, as we continue to kiss. Heat rises up in my cheeks, and my heart is beginning to race. After what seemed to be an eternity, we break apart and smile to one another.

"Come inside now, it's chilly out, even though it's summer."

"Ok, where do I set my bag?"

"Just at the foot of my bed is fine, on the floor. After that, we're going to cuddle. That's not a suggestion, it will  happen."

"Alright, I wanted that anyway." I say chuckling.
