(I'm fücking bored so I put this in a Harry Potter AU. Hope you don't mind, darlings.)
Fell sat at the Slytherin table with his regular demeanor of boredom. Toriel was sitting next to him, chatting away about her day. She knew Fell was dating Sci, a Ravenclaw, but that didn’t seem to stop her advances. The boy snorted to himself at the thought. He raised his eyes from the food to across the hall. He smirked slightly as he caught sight of his boyfriend. The Ravenclaw quickly averted hid gaze, turning to his own food.
“Caught you.” Fell thought to himself with a chuckle.
Unfortunately, Toriel took this as a laugh to what she was saying.
“I knew you would find it amusing, Fell.” She cheered while batting her eyelashes. Fell gulped. “Yeah. Sure, whatever.”
Giggling, Toriel playfully shoved the skeleton, causing him to slam into the girl sitting on his other side.
“Sorry.” He quickly apologized.
The girl just giggled in response, causing him to roll his eye lights. It was then that he noticed the closest guy was two down from Toriel. Huffing, Fell pushed his plate away from him. He looked back over to the Ravenclaw table to see Sci standing up. His gaze remained low as his friends tried to keep him there. Fell’s brow arches furrowed as Sci shook his head and left. The friend that had been sitting closer to him shot a death glare at Fell, further confusing him.
Immediately, Fell stood from his seat, causing Toriel and the other girls to whimper. Rolling his eyes, the Slytherin went after his boyfriend with a quick pace. His pace paid off. The second he was outside the dining hall, Sci was just turning toward the Ravenclaw dormitories. Fell reached out his hand and grabbed the other's arm bone. They ended up close to the wall, out of view of the hall.
“Hey.” Sci rebuffed before his eyes widened, “Oh. Hi, Fell.”
Underneath his eye sockets seemed to be stained blue slightly, worrying Fell. His grip lessened. “What’s wrong, love?” He asked. “Blue gave me a stare that could give a Basilisk a scare, so don’t say you’re fine.” Despite his mood, Sci chuckled. His face fell again. “It’s just…”“Yeah?” Fell encouraged gently.
“All those monsters- perfect Slytherin monsters- I'm nowhere near perfect.”
“Wait.” He replied in confusion. "What do you mean?” Sci's skull flushed as his tears picked up. “I’m not as good-looking as them, Fell. I don’t even know how you wanted to date me in the first place.”
Fell painfully frowned. His soul clenched as he could feel the nerd's sorrow. How could he not see how wonderful he was? How perfect? How intelligent? Beautiful? He brought Sci close, just wanting to hold him. He clutched onto Fell in desperation. The golden-toothed male rubbed the smaller's back soothingly before kissing his temple.
“Sci, I love you.” He started, “You’re more perfect than any of those monsters combined, alright?” “Even Toriel?” Sci muttered. Fell chuckled. “Especially Toriel.” He kissed his cheek. “You are stunning, adorable, and so many other things. And that’s not just looks. On the inside as well.”
Sci raised his white eye lights to meet Fell's glowing red ones. Fell smiled softly at him. Gently, he wiped away the tears with his thumb. He raised his brow arches and smirked.
“May I see that radiant smile of yours?” He asked. Sci let out a breathy laugh, beaming in the process. “There it is.” Fell replied while kissing Sci's forehead.
“I love you too,” he whispered.
“Good.” He gently clanked their teeth together. “Can you make sure Blue knows? He may kill me in my sleep if he doesn’t.”Sci laughed loudly at the comment. He nodded before laying hid head in the crook of Fell's neck. Fell smoothed a hand over the top of Sci's skull, still holding him. He placed a final kiss on his temple to solidify his feelings.
