Derick's pov

It was a challenge for the family. For Nathan amd Philip. They have to accept the fact that Sofia is now connected to Adrian. They couldn't do anything. But I advised them to move on and forget about Love for some reason. Well, I have always had feelings for Lizzy but I had instincts that Hubert or Edward likes her. So to get rid of 'this' feeling I set it aside. I wouldn't hussle myself and connect to her. I don't even know if she likes me or something. "Derick, may I have a word?" Edward asked. Well, I guess he has something important to say. "Go on." I say. He sat down with me and sighed deeply."what's the matter lil bro?" I ask. "Well I'm not going any further, let's get this straight. Do you like Lizzy?" He asked me with a serious face. I was speechless. "I'm not sure.. but yes?" I said. He just sighed and sorrow was filled in his eyes. Why did I do anything wrong? "Derick,be sure of it. Make her yours. You're a coward huh?" He asked and smiled shortly."I don't know if I turn her into a vampire or I should just set this aside. Ugh!!!!!!!! Fine! I'm fucking scared of what is going to be her reaction if I will confess to her!" I gave up. Yes. I am scared of getting busted by her."Derick, nothings gonna go wrong if you try. But if you hide here like a coward everything is going to get lost. Catastrophe in short. Just confess to her before it's too late. She might accept you" Edward said. I sighed and thought about what Edward said. "How do you know?" I ask.He just smiled.

Edward's pov

"How do you know?" He asked confused. I know it already. I can see the future. The man whose going to be with Lizzy isn't me but Derick. So,my feelings for her isn't important at all. I just have to accept it. I just have to help Derick. I know it hurts but it's the right thing to do. "She feels the same." I said and he looked shocked. "Really?" He asked and I nodded. "Go to her now Derick." I said and he teleported. It hurts.

Hubert's pov

I went to the rooftop. I cried a lot.Edward told me that just give up our feelings for Lizzy. She has to be with Derick. Why? I have to accept it even though it hurts. I did everything just to be with her. I was her bestfriend. She was the reason that I want to go to school. I tried everything. I almost had her.
