Chapter 2

Sophie's POV:

Amy was talking to Biana about who knows what and I was sitting on an armchair reading a human book named The Ever Afters: Of Giants and Ice by Shelby Bach. It was the first installment for the series which contained 4 books.

I was so interested in the part where Rory threw a chocolate cake at Chase that I was startled to hear a voice inside my head.

"Hey Soph, how is it going? Is Amy adjusting well to the lost cities?"Fitz asked.

" Oh, my Hades you scared me! And to answer your questions it's going great and Amy is getting along with Biana very well so I assume she is fitting in well with our little group here," I responded shell shocked.

" What is Hades by the way?" Fitz asked out loud.

" Hades is the greek god of the Underworld where people go after they die. He is one of the big three, 3 gods who are the most powerful Zeus, Poseidon and you know Hades," I respond, I would give a dam burger to just tell him the truth, but I am a Hellenic polytheist (A.N. It's a real religion if you want to know more about it just search it up, what? I did my research that is all!) so I know a lot about greek gods and mythology but I also know a lot about roman gods and mythology because it is one of my many hobbies. Being a Hellenic polytheist was awkward in the forbidden cities but even more in the lost cities, I am not sure what religion the eleven community worships but I know for a fact that it is not Hellenism.

" Oh thanks, Soph see you later," Fitz moved across the room and into the kitchen.

Unknown POV:

The group of children did not see the dark figure lingering in the shadows of the book shelves and the figure moved into the shadows to be teleported to a cave in the forbidden cities. The figure then joined a table which seated 14 other figures in black cloaks with a single white eye adorning all their cloaks.

"The children are oblivious to our plan Master, they do not know anything about The Greeks, Roman, Egyptians or Norse gods except that girl the moon lark," The one who just entered said.

The figure at the head of the table stood " Then we will continue but this plan is very fragile and if they even know the slightest hint about this plan we will have the abandon it, is that clear!"

"Yes Master," The entire group answered scared about their lives if they did not answer to their master.

Annabeth's POV:

I was over at Magnus' place when I saw Sadie and Walt/Anubis fly through my temporary room's window and crash onto the floor in front of my bed which I was sitting on.

" Annabeth we need you and your friends to come to help us the Brooklyn House is under attack," Sadie said.
