"Ahh!! It's freakin' hot," yelled Inuyasha. "Osuwari (Sit Boy)," Kagome said, exhausted from the heat. "HEY WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR KAGOME!?" Inuyasha screached. "Osuwari," Thump. "Why is it so hot today?" Sango says, tired. "Well, I'm sure Inuyasha and I wouldn't mind it if you ladies were to, so to say, cool down with less clothin-" Thump. "Ahh. Miroku was hit again," Shippo says. "Are you okay Sango?" Miroku asks. "Eh? You want another hit?" Sango reaches for her boomerang. "N-No no no. It was just, weaker than usual," Miroku says, startled at her sudden energy.
"This heat really is somethin' though.." Kagome sighs. Suddenly and idea pops into her head. "Hey! You guys! Let's go swimming!" Kagome squeals happily. "That doesn't sound too bad.." Sango smiles. "It doesn't sound bad at all <3" Miroku hums happily. "Quiet monk!" Sango and Kagome both kick him in the face, leaving no restrength.
The gang arrive at a nice lake to swim in with a waterfall. "Ahh! This is wonderful!" Kagome says in total bliss. "This really hits the spot!" Sango says happily. "E-Explain to me again why Inuyasha and I both have to wear blind folds?" Miroku says trying to feel around the area. "Yeah! And why doesn't Shippo need to wear one?" "Shippo's a child!" Sango says. "But I guess we are being a bit harsh, huh?" Kagome sighs. "I guess you can take off your blind folds.." "Kagome! Are you sure?" Sango questions her. "Yeah, everyone should have fun!" Kagome says cheerfully.
Everyone is having fun and jumping into the water. Miroku tries to do.. his things and gets hit more times that usual. While the gang is having their fun apairof delinquets come to their spot. But they're not only delinquents, but they are demons?! But how come they have the skin of a human? They resemble Inuyasha and Sesshomeru in this way.
"Demons!?" Inuyasha smells them out quicker than the others and looks to their direction. "Tch. Way to ruin my fun" Inuyasha says angrily. "Hahaha! What is it?" a demon with pinkish hair says. "Yeah, why can't we join in on the fun?" one with blue hair insists. "Heh. Fat Chance." Inuyasha wields Tetsugai (I know I spelled that wrong x.x) and is prepared to fight the two demons. "Woah! Woah! We didn't come here to fight, right Aigon?" The blue hair looks to the pink haired one. "Yep. That's right Urgyuu," Both the demons chuckle and jump into the water beside the girls.
Aigon puts his arm around Kagome and Urgyuu puts his around Sango. "Who the hell do you think you are, touchin' our women?" An angry Miroku says. "First of all, we aren't your women." Sango says to Miroku. "Second of all, we aren't YOUR women!" Kagome says to the demons. Both of the girls hit the demons and run to the land to leave. "Tch! Stupid women! We'll just have to take you by force then, huh?" Aigon yells fiercely, taking out a wip-like weapon, aiming straight for Kagome.
"KAGOME!!!" Inuyasha yells and hits the wip out of the way. "Don't you dare lay anything of your filth on Kagome!" Inuyasha snarls at the demons. "heh. HAHAHAHA. YOU ARE CALLING US FILTH WHILE YOU ARE A MANGY MUTT? THAT IS HILARIOUS!!" Urgyuu wipes away a tear. "That's golden, half demon" Aigon says. "Fox Fire!!" You hear Shippo yell in the background, burning the two demons. "Crap!! I forgot they had another annoyance!" Aigon pats out the flames.
Kirara growls at the demons after becoming her full size leaving them in surprise. "Let's go! Kirara!" Sango shouts out while jumping on top of her with Miroku and Shippo following her example. "Inuyasha!" Kagome cries out. Inuyasha comes and grabs Kagome, having her ride on his back like usual. "Tch." Aigon says. "Just you wait, human girl Kagome." Urgyuu chuckles.
They team end up back in town after a while of running. "Jeez! And we were just getting cooled off!" Kagome pouts. "It's ok," Sango says. "We can think of other ways to cool down," Kagome walks up to Lady Kaede and asks, "Lady Kaede, would you happen to know where any watermelons are?" "That's a strange question but I have some growing out back, two of them should be fully grown by now," Kaede answers Kagome. "Can I have one?" Kagome asks, excited. "You can have both of them child," Kaede smiles. "Oh thank you!!" Kagome hugs Lady Kaede and Lady Kaede smiles.
Kagome tries grabbing one of the watermelon but they are huge. "Uuuoohhh. They are so heavy!!" Kagome grunts. "Give it here," Inuyasha easily grabs one watermelon with a single hand. "Thanks, Inuyasha" Kagome smiles. "I-It was nothing," Inuyasha pouts, but also blushes.
Inuyasha brings the watermelon to the the front. "Hehe, now let me cut the watermelon!" Inuyasha cuts the watermelon fairly even with Tetsugai. "Hehe! Dig in everyone! This should cool us down a bit!" Kagome says cheerfully. "Uwaahh!! This is really good Kagome-Chan!!" Shippo says, stuffing his tiny face with watermelon. "Pyii!" Kirara sounds. (Right? o.o) "Hahaha This is pretty good!" Miroku laughs joyfully. "Good thinking Kagome, this really is nice," Sango smiles happily.
Kagome waits to hear what Inuyasha has to say but he is too busy eating. Kagome finally starting to get angry says, "OSUWARI," And Inuyasha's face is bashed into the ground, along with his melon piece. "OI WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FO-" "OSUWARI OSUWARI OSUWARI!!!" Kagome yells as she stomps back over to Sango.
"Ahh since it's night time it has finally cooled down!" Kagome sighs happily. Kagome looks over to Inuyasha who was also looking at her and turns her head away quickly, fore she is still angry with him. "Are you still mad at him?" Sango asks Kagome. "Oh, what do you mean, Sango-Chan?" Kagome smiles but then glares at Inuyasha. Inuyasha is startled. "But it really has gotten late.." Kagome yawns.
"Oh! Crap! I forgot I told Mama I would be home tonight!!" Kagome says abruptly. "K-Kagome?" Sango says surprised. "But it's so dark out now, it's dangerous, Kagome-san." Miroku says. 'Yeah!!" Shippo enters in. "It's alright! I'll be fine!" Kagome smiles. "At least bring Inuyasha!" Miroku says worriedly. "I don't need him.." Kagome leaves with a *Hmph!*.
A few minutes pass and Miroku suddenly says, "I still feel a bit nervous.. Inuyasha. Go follow Kagome right now." "I agree with you monk," Sango says. "Why do I have to go!?" Inuyasha sighs angrily. "Inuyasha," Miroku says sternly. "FINE," Inuyasha yells then goes to follow Kagome.
"Geez why am I always the one to go after her!?" Inuyasha kicks a rock while walking. "W-wait..!!" Inuyasha stops and sniffs around. "That's the smell of.. those demons earlier!!" Inuyasha runs as quickly as possible to follow the scent.
From Kagome's view..
"Hey!! Let go of m-!!!" Kagome's mouth is being covered by Urgyuu!! "Heheh. Quiet while I make you my woman!!" Aigon yells in delight, starting to tear at Kagome's clothes. Kagome's eyes widen in horror at what is happening. Kagome squirms with all her might, trying to shake off Urgyuu. {None of this is working..} Kagome thinks to herself. Suddenly, she bites Urgyuu's finger with all her strength. He lets go with a "Yelp!" giving her enough time to scream, "SAVE ME!! INUYASHA!!! I'M SCARED SAVE ME!!!! INUUYAAASSHHAAA!!!!!"
"Kagome!?" Inuyasha hears her screams of terror. Suddenly worried for Kagome, he runs faster. Inuyasha finally arrives at the scene, where Kagome's clothes are ripped, and Kagome has been injured by Urgyuu for hurting him.
"You..." Inuyasha begins. "How DARE you harm Kagome!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!" Inuyasha whips out Tetsugai, quickly ridding the enemy. "KAGOME!!" Inuyasha runs over to her after he has beaten the enemy. "I-Inuyasha..." Kagome sobs. Inuyasha holds Kagome tight in his arms. "I-I'm sorry.. t-that I was being m-mean earlier... I'm.. *hic* sorry you had to save me.. again.." Kagome sobs.
"It's alright... Kagome.. It's okay to be afraid.. I'm here now.. you're safe.." Inuyasha whispers to her. "N-NO!! It's not alright!! I don't always.. *hic* want to be mad at... t-the one I..!" Kagome is silenced. Inuyasha was wiping her tears away. "Kagome.. I should have gone with you because I.." Inuyasha falls silent. Suddenly, at the same moment, the two say in unison, "I love you.." Startled at each others words, they look each other in the eyes and laugh a bit. After the laughing has ended they befall a silence.
The two look at each other for a while, when suddenly they realize the position they're in. Inuyasha is holding Kagome in his arms, while her outfit is partially ripped. "K-Kagome-" Inuyasha starts. "It's okay Inuyasha.. because you.. are the one I love." Kagome says while blushing. Inuyasha kisses Kagome, passionately for what seems forever. The two pause and smile then continue kissing, sitting in a warm alley way, with little Shippo behind them. Because little Shippo followed Inuyasha to save Kagome. "N-No way!!!" Shippo yelled and the scene shifts to the night sky, ending our story.
