At only the young age of thirteen, Percy Jackson already had already seen a lot of things that couldn't be explained by mortal eyes. His father was a god. An immortal being who had lived for thousands of years and had the power to control the sea in as many ways as one could imagine. At the age of twelve, he'd cut off the head of the most infamous mythical creatures known in history. Even before that, he'd killed the minotaur with its own horn. Even this summer had proved to be something special. When your cousin comes back alive from being a tree, you know that a summer will go down as one to be remembered. So of course, this all meant that he shouldn't have been surprised about the old man sitting in front of him claiming to be a wizard. Even more than that is that Percy believed him, if not 100%, than at least 90%. Percy knew about Hecate, who was the Greek goddess of magic, naturally, there had to be wizards somewhere.

The old man smiled kindly at Percy, it was an action used to show that he meant no harm. Percy couldn't help but wonder if there was something hidden behind that smile. He knew that kind smiles sometimes meant nothing. Someone could pretend to mean well for you with that smile on their face and then stab you in the back later.

"Perseus," the man said " It's a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Albus Dumbledore, I'm here to talk to you about your parents."

Even Chiron looked confused as to why Dumbledore had arrived to talk about Poseidon and Sally Jackson. In the old centaurs prospective, Percy had already known all there was to know about his heritage. To Chiron, Percy was a demigod, the son of an immortal god and a mortal woman, what else could there be to speak of.

"Your real parents."

The simple statement caused Chiron's eyes to widen just the slightest bit. Percy's mind had almost immediately been drawn back to the discussion he had with his mother just a few months ago. Sally Jackson had sat him down one early Saturday morning and she had been honest with him. That day she had told him everything about how he had been adopted. She had told him about how she had found him outside of the apartment building where she had been living at the time.

"You know my parents?" Percy felt hopeful. He didn't realize that that feeling managed to seep into his voice.

"Yes," Dumbledore replied. "I knew them. James and Lily spent a considerable amount of time as students at the school where I am the headmaster. I'm sorry to say this but your parents perished shortly after they had you. We had assumed that you had perished along with them but you appeared on our school's roster not long ago we spent time after that looking for you,"

Percy noticed the change in wording when Dumbledore confessed that he did know his parents. The word 'knew' made all the difference.

Before Dumbledore could continue, Chiron cut into the conversation.

"If I'm not wrong my old friend, Perseus' parents are Poseidon and Sally Jackson. May I ask what do you mean exactly when you say, real parent."

Dumbledore smiled at the old centaur. His blue eyes sparkled brighter than before.

"The answer is simple my friend," The old man replied. "Young Perseus here has two sets of parents. Of course, Poseidon is his biological father, as well as James Potter. Lily Potter is his biological mother and Sally Jackson is his adoptive mother. "

"How is it possible that I have two fathers? I mean, I know that I live in a place protected by a magical pine tree and Mount Olympus is pretty much sitting on top of the Empire State Building, but that seem like a lot."

"It's actually quite simple," Dumbledore said. " On the night you were conceived, Lord Poseidon possessed the body of James and later impregnated your mother Lily. This, of course, leads to you being born."

Percy could only nod. The fact that his father possessed someone in just to get laid seemed so strange to him, but realization dawned on him and he remembered that Greek mythology was full of the gods doing things like this to mortals. That, unfortunately, included his father. In fact, he realized that it included most of his godly family, except for maybe the goddesses that were sworn to eternal maidenhood.

"Perseus, your mother, and father were a witch and a wizard. The terminology doesn't matter all that much, but what does matter is that you are their son and a wizard. As I said earlier, James and Lily attended the school where I have been acting as headmaster for a considerable amount of time, I came here today to ask if you wanted to attend the school like your parents did. Although I would understand if you didn't want to attend, I strongly urge you to consider it."

"I will," Percy said with a nod. "But I think that I should at east speak with my mom about all of this. If I agreed to anything without talking to her first it would just feel wrong."

"The I'll give you some time to think over my offer. I'll return in two days to hear your answer. I trust that If you do decide to attend. There is the fact that you'll need tutoring to get you caught up on the two years of school that you've missed, but I'll take care of that on my end."

Percy nodded.

"You never told me the name of the school."

"Hogwarts, my boy, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. If you should choose to attend, we would all gladly welcome you. Including your older brother."

It took a few moments for Percy to register the words that escaped the old wizard's mouth. Before he could even ask about them, a loud crack resonated throughout the room and Dumbledore disappeared from his seat. Percy turned to Chiron with a bewildered look on his face, but the centaur seemed more amused than surprised.

"Well, I suppose you should get going. Your mother is probably waiting for you."

Percy stared at Chiron for a few seconds before giving a small nod before picking up the duffel bag sitting beside him. He'd talk to his other in the car, Percy would make sure of that. The demigod quickly said goodbye to Chiron. He quickly made his way over Half-Blood Hill. At the bottom, he could see his mother standing outside of a car waiting for him. He figured that she must've borrowed a friend's car.

Percy quickly made his way down the hill. He could see his mother smile when he came into sight. Once he reached the bottom, he quickly wrapped his mother into a tight hug. Once he let go, both Percy and his mother got into the car.

"Mom, can I ask you a question?"

So here we are folks, and I must say, I don't really know what to expect. This is the first chapter of the rewritten version of my Percy Jackson and Harry Potter crossover book. To be honest, I've been meaning to rewrite the story for a while now because I didn't really like how it was starting off, or where it was going. I can honestly say that I like this version better than the first one. I think that this version will got farther than the first one ever could have, becasue now I think that I have mostly every thing planned out for the first book. I really do hope you all do enjoy this version better than the first one.

Thanks for reading, this has been Seismic Grey.
