AMELIA POV : HEARTBREAK

I can't believe it, Jake turned me down! I mean, didn't he love me? Oh shoot, he probably doesn't like me anymore. And I saw the way he looked at Angela. No surprise that he moved on, but I haven't. Remember I said my weakness is Love, he is my weakness. Psyche had cursed me, with the help of Eros of course. That's why I didn't like Angela at first. She is his brother after all. No matter, I still loved Jake. And I will never stop loving him. I love him so much, but he probably hates me. After all, I did hand him over to his mom. But in my defense, she seemed like a nice person. I only saw her true form when she grabbed Jake. In this cold voice, she laughed. She picked him up by his neck and threw him. I tried to protest, but she touched my arm and everything went white. I froze. All I could see was the hurt and betrayal in Jake's blue eyes. It hurt me inside. I only wanted the best for him. When his mom approached me, she tried to sugar me with sweets. I kindly refused, probably because I was lactose intolerant. She told me in a sweet voice, "Do you perhaps know anyone called Theseus?". I shook my head. She frowned, then she said, "Do you perhaps know anyone called Jake?". I excitedly nodded. That day was our 5 month anniversary. Right behind me, I heard the sound of sneakers shuffling. I turned around, behind me stood Jake. He froze and dropped his roses. His entire face shook with fear. The lady was staring at Jake greedily. She said, "Hi Jakie, would you like to come live with your mamma?". Almost too quickly, Jake shook his head.
