Chapter Nine - Dinner With 'The Guest'

Tori's POV

I gave myself a last glance in the mirror.

I was wearing a light yellow frock top and black slacks with black sandals. I had left my hair open and clipped a few strands behind my head.

My bedroom door opened with a light crack and Jessica popped her head in.

"Dean is here. Are you ready?" She asked.

I nodded.

"I knew you liked him," She said grinning.

I rolled my eyes. "For maybe the hundredth time Jess. Its not a date,"

"Yeah yeah whatever. It'll soon be,"

I narrowed my eyes at her.

She laughed and raised up her hands in surrender.

I shook my head at her and walked out of the room.

Dean was in the hall.

He was wearing a light blue tshirt and black jeans, looking amazingly awesome.

"You look amazing," He said smiling.

"Thanks," I blushed.

We went inside and I was given the job of deciding the movie.

There was an action thriller, romance or horror.

I obviously went for the horror one.

The movie wasn't scary at all. It was Eight when the movie ended and I was already very sleepy.

"That movie bored the shit out of me," I said while yawning.

Dean laughed.

"It insulted the word 'horror'. It was very much clichè indeed. Like the scene where the girl saw the ghost and instead of running away, she tried to hit him with a small rod,"

We both burst out laughing.

After a while Dean asked me, "Do you want an ice cream?"

I shook my head.

"I just wanna go home,"

"Okay,"

We started walking towards the car.

The ride to my home was silent. After I stepped out of the car, I invited Dean to come in but he refused.

I shrugged and waved him goodbye.

I sleepily entered the house and started walking towards the stairs. Just as I was about to step on the first stair, something came under my foot, making me loose my balance.

"Woah," I shut my eyes, waiting to hit the ground but surprisingly, I was caught in a pair of strong arms.

I opened my eyes only to find his smirking face looking down at me.

I immediately loosened the grip on his muscled shoulders I had held for support while falling.

"Next time be careful girly," He said, making me stand.

I shifted behind, realising the distance between us.

"I am not girly," I snapped.

"So how was the date?" He asked me.

Ugh!

"First, It was not a date and second, even if it was a date, its none of your business,"

He shrugged raising up his hands in surrender. "Ofcourse its not,"
