The Run

Chapter 2

I walk to home from school,the walk is like 20 minutes

I reach my front door,before I could open the door I notice something strange,really strange

I open the door and I stop and drop my stuff,I can't believe this is happening  there were suitcases by the door,and not any suitcases

My dad's

I check the whole house for my mom and dad and they weren't here at all

I ran in the kitchen were my mom puts notes for me when she goes some where and forget to tell me

I found a yellow note

Me and your father is in court getting divorce,I sorry baby but it's not working any more,we be back later around 7,I love you

I fell to the ground and start to cry and scream

I ran out my house, and ran I don't know we're I just ran

I saw a meadow with a dirt pathway I ran in that,the sun was going down,it look so pretty I wish I was the sun,i ran in the meadow,it felt like I could finally breathe,

"Hello,who are you " I jump,and fell back wards were I fell on my but

"OWW,YOU ALMOST GAVE ME HEART ATTACK " I turn around to a guy around see about my age

"OH I am sorry,I didn't mean to yell,hi I am Lucy Grayson " I say while standing to greet him

"It's ok,I David Clark my grandparents  own this property,I just heard crying so I came out here " he says smiling

Did he say he's name was what

"Aren't you the new boy how just transferred,my freind was going on about how she saw you in the hallway and how your cute and other stuff" I say smiling

"Yah,wait she really said that,well,whatever ,what are you doing here " he says

Should I tell him I ran away from him

"I ran away from home,my mom and dad had an argument and it went to far that they at court right now getting a divorce so I ran I a can't take it any more,john broke up with me when I loved him,my life just sucks " I start to cry again and scream and kick

He wrap his arms around and rock me back and fourth,telling me it's ok, you re going to be fine and he punch john in the face,I got up from his lap

"You will,please do,thank you so much,is ok that I stay here for a while" with a big smile

"Anything  for you flower,but don't be loud,I am Going back in side so if you need me text me,give me your phone" I hand him my phone,I'd you look at him he kinda cute,I can't wait till he punch john in the face

"Can you stay with me I don't won't be alone " I can't believe I said that,but I do need someone with me,and I am lonely

"Sure,but promise me you have to returned home,ok,I take you home,I don't won't anyone stealing you,flower " he's smile make me want to punch him in the face,but he is really kind

"Promise,wait,don't call me flower " he  smiles,and laugh

"Too bad flower,you got to deal with it now,suck it up butter cup " he is somthing else

"What ever " I smile and layer my head on his shoulder,and this is how we stayed, we watch the sunset,I close my eyes and my dream came in view

I woke up,the sun shinning  in my face,I start to remember everything  last night

Before I went downstairs I called the monster

"Good Morning flower did you sleep well " I smiled a little and then got serious

"When did I fell,wait,what happen last night" I am so curious,I look down at my clothes,I wasn't in this yesterday"DID YOU CHANGE ME " I could hear him laughing

"Flower,I didn't change I tell you what happen,ok,when the sun went down I was about to get up when I look at you,and you sleeping,I didn't  wake you up,I put you in my car, I took your phone to find out were you live without waking you up,when I got to your house,I pick up you up and carry you to the front door,I knock and I guess your parents open the door,they looked like they been crying for a while,when they saw you in my arms they looked happy,I told them everything,they said thank you, and I left"

Wow he did that for me I felt happy inside

"Wow,thank you so much I going to talk to them text you later ok " I knew right now he going to change my life

"OK bye,flo-"I hang up on him calling that stupid nickname,I got change into some blue jean shorts and a cute white crock top  with a white tank top,I brush my long dirty blonde hair,and I decided to go down to my parent and talk or I can climb through my window and not talk to them

That hard to chose

I got

I walk down stairs to were my parents were talking,"honey come join us we need to talk " I breathe and sit down next to my mom

"As you now me and your dad our finally divorce,but you still get to see your dad,I know you don't like it but it's life honey" i try to keep my tears at bay,but I couldn't hold them anymore,I start to cry a little then it got worse I start to scream and yell and sob

"It's alright honey,breathe,you don't want black out again,breathe

that I think about but couldn't do it, I thought about it but I can't do it any more,breathe

This is the meadow were I could breathe at,it's just so beautiful,and I am not

I sat in the path and crying,sobing,screaming,kicking,I couldn't do this

Warm arms wrapped around me and control me " shh it's ok you going to be find,I am here for you " I cried even more I probably covered him with my stupid tears,I looked up to him and I realized I was on his lap

I started to blush,but not to show him I wipe the tears off my check "I am ok I just need to think " he looked worried,but then he start to smile

I so want to punch him in the face

"Are you hungry,come on let's go eat somewhere,I now a cafe,not to far from here " I was kinda hungry why not,I nodded, he took my hand and lift me up,we walk to his car,I almost forgot that he's gand was in my,he walk me  to the passenger side and open the door for me,he let go of my hand

I kinda miss his warmth
