! Hui Sin's POV !

__START OF FLASH BACK__

"Hui Sin ah it's gonna be fine" Taehyung was patting my back, I held onto his shirt, "B-But." I stuttered my words letting more tears fall down across my cheeks as the thunder got louder

I remembered that day indistinctly but somewhat detailed. We were at Taehyung's house for a sleepover since me and Eme's parents were going for a overseas business trip together.

Taehyung's parents stayed at work til midnight, maybe they'd sleep at their workplace too. That night, there was heavy storm coming, his parents already contacted us that they aren't going to come home.

We all shared a room together, as we layed out our sleeping bags Taehyung suddenly exclaimed, "I'm sleeping beside Hui Sin!" Yoongi and Eme just smiled and went inside their sleeping bags after turning off the lights.

I was already curled up in the blankets trying to avoid the noises of the rain hitting the window. I peeked out of my blanket and saw the lightning strike, I  quietly let out a squeak. "What's wrong Hui Sin?" Taehyung came to my side and hugged me. The thunder was booming around the house, somehow Eme and Yoongi were already sound asleep.

"T-Thunder.." I softly whispered. "You're scared of the thunder?" He looked at me, his eyes was shining even though the lights were already off. I nod expecting him to laugh at me. But he didn't. Instead, he hugged me close and held my hand, "I'm here. I'll protect you. I'll protect you from anything." He whispered in my ear.

In the end I cried myself to sleep. But Taehyung was holding onto my hand. Gently singing a song.

__END OF FLASHBACK__

I started remembering so much memories but only through my dreams. I would wake up and talk to Eme if they were real.

We were having breakfast in our dorm, she settled down the plates in front of me, I observe her eyes. "Unnie, have you been sleeping?" I asked. Her bloodshot eyes and puffy face could mean two things. She's not feeling well. Or she's devastated.

"Yeah- Uhm, I guess I'm fine." Eme took a deep breath. I  started eating, "Care to share?" She started telling me about Yoongi and a girl named Harin. I swear I could see murder in her eyes.

I gulp down my last piece of meat. "Soo basically, we're going to their dorm?" I question her as she finishes her food as well. Yoongi had requested her to help him dress for his date, he suggested bringing me too. "Yeah- Well if you have anything else in your schedule on that day." She collected the plates and put it in the sink. "Nah i'm free." I took out my phone and look at the time.

We were going to be late for a show if we keep slacking like this. We hurriedly washed up and went to the venue.

__SKIP DURING SHOW__

Me and Eme stood side by side. All of the groups just finished performing. They already announced who had won on M!Countdown, of course BTS took 1st place.

A few days ago, the company told us that they were going to make a collaboration stage on MAMA with BigHit Entertainment, those interested would sign their names up. We weren't really up for it until Soohae told us that she signed our group up for it.

Being on stage with BTS can be a great thing but we were just rookies. The netizens had to vote on which group they want to see perform along side BTS.

"The groups who will be doing the collaboration stage is..." The MC was taking out a paper out the envelope. People waved their lightsticks and cheered. Some chanted out their favorite group. "JYP Entertainment's WINGS!! Congratulations!"

My eyes widen as I froze on the spot, Eme looked over to me shocked as me, her mouth was open wide.

__SKIP DAYS AFTER__

! Taehyung's POV !

The music stops as we finish dancing. Loud panting could be heard from the back up dancers and the members. The girls came to discuss and prepare for the collaboration stage.

"Lunch break!" Our manager shouts from the corner of the room. All of the back-up dancers went out to the canteen while the members stayed in the room. I immediately went to Hui Sin and tapped her shoulder, she turned around to me and smiled, "Wanna go eat?" I suggest, she hesitates for awhile, "I'm actually on a diet so.." I nod my head trying not to look disappointed.

She excuses herself and walks to Eme, I couldn't help but stare at her. She really makes heads turn. I felt a tap on my shoulder, "You know it's obvious that you have eyes for her." Jimin stood beside me as I sigh and rolled my eyes, "We were best friends." I look down at my feet.

"Then take her in a date," Jimin casually says, "If you won't then I will." I immediately hit Jimin's arm playfully, Jimin just laughed then his eyes lit up like he remember something, "Yoongi hyung is having a date today remember? He told us the girls are invited to our dorm." He nudge me with his elbow.

I remembered a little information during dinner yesterday, I was only half listening to Yoongi when he announced that he was going to have date with a girl. Although I didn’t remember when exactly was his date, I did hear that Eme and Hui Sin was invited over to the dorm because Eme was helping Yoongi with his outfit.

__SKIP AFTER PRACTICE__

It was currently 5 pm and Yoongi was running around panicking mumbling to himself. Hui Sin was beside me wrapped around a blanket since it was raining and she felt cold. I brought her hot chocolate and popcorn since we were going to have a movie night together. Eme was too busy calming Yoongi down to even sit down and talk to us. It was quite awkward having the girls here. After we came into the dorm, the other boys went straight to their rooms and left us alone.

The noise of the rain drops pitter-pattering against the windows caused Hui Sin to shiver, she picked up her mug and took a sip of her hot chocolate. I picked up the remote and went to Netflix to see what was good to binge watch. We decided to watch Stranger Things since I heard it was amazing according to Jimin. We soon were able to be distracted from the constant shuffling of Yoongi who was walking around and complaining to Eme either about his suit or what to say to the girl. Now that I think about it, I don’t even remember her name. I didn’t think about it any further and then payed attention to the movie.

__SKIP AFTER A FEW EPISODES__

It was raining cats and dogs outside, it was already past 7 pm and Yoongi went out early to pick up his date. Eme was in the kitchen cooking up dinner for the rest of us although she didn’t need to but she insisted. Hui Sin was into the movie after several episodes in, she rested her head against my shoulder while munching on popcorn, I didn’t dare to move since she seem so comfortable.

After a few minutes later, Hui Sin clinged onto my arm after a lightning strike followed by the booming sound of the thunder. I forgot that she scared of thunderstorms.

! Hui Sin’s POV !

I couldn’t stay focused on the movie anymore, I started taking deep breaths. My eyes darted around the room, we turned off the lights so it feels like we were in the theatre. I looked out the window, lightning jagged across the dark night sky, thunder followed. I let out a small squeak.

I hid my face with the blanket, I was so embarrassed since Taehyung was right to me but at the same time I was also scared. I felt something warm on my head, I slowly lifted up my head from the sheet to discover that Taehyung was patting my head.

“Hui Sin ah it’s gonna be fine.” He smiled at me, I didn’t realize that I was staring at him until he moved his hand from my head to my hand. He grasped tightly but not too tight to hurt me. Somehow I felt safe. I smiled to myself and started paying attention to the television again.
