Chapter ~9~

*Jane, Lisbon and Cho *

Jane searched in every corner of this house. He was quite desperate.

Cho was still sitting in the car while Lisbon stood right next to Jane. They didn't find anything. No note for them this time.

As they left the house, Cho wasn't there anymore. The car was still on its spot but no sign of Cho or another living soul. This wasn't typical for Cho, to not wait for Lisbon and other people wouldn't really fit him. Lisbon and Jane took the car and went back to the cbi building.  Jane immediately went to the sofa, like he usually did.

Just as he was about to lay down he found another piece of paper with something written on it. He opened the envelope and read the letter. *Mr. Patrick Jane,  Do you miss your agent Cho? Well, I know where he is. I would hurry up because he is injured pretty bad. You also have to find agent Van Pelt and agent Rigsby.  So... As you can see, things are pretty much going the way  I planned them. One more person, and I won the game. You can't win. Ps: you are  searching your cousin right? I'll find her earlier than you. Or maybe I already found her?...

sincerely,

RJ*

Jane, in very shaking conditions,  gave Lisbon the letter and she read it. As she finished the letter, she looked to Jane, who was standing infront of a window being probably the most serious man she has ever seen.

It was very late and dark outside.  Lisbon was about to go home and Jane followed her without saying anything. Everytime Lisbon tried to start a conversation, Jane was just starring out of the car window. Maybe everything was too much for him, Lisbon couldn't get all pieces together. Just not yet she said to herself. As they arrived at Lisbon's apartment she opened the door and Jane finally broke the 1 hour silence. "You're save now. Don't go anywhere without me. I'm picking you up tomorrow morning. Bye." He said and left Lisbon.

He was strange, not the man Lisbon knew  *Rigsby*

Rigsby couldn't think clearly.

The door opened and someone was basically thrown into the room. Could it be Van Pelt?

No it was Cho.  He was badly injured on his head and face. They didn't talk because Cho was unconscious.

Rigsby heard the terrifying screamings again. He was now convinced that it was really was Van Pelt. It became quiet. A mans handclap was the last thing he heard.

Was Grace Van Pelt still alive?
