Ida POV
I woke up to the sound of gun shots, my eyes taking in the sight of Mordecai with no shirt on shooting varkids. I get up and head over to Bloodwing and ruffle her feathers. It was a peaceful day, the weather was perfect. I could hear the sound of metal feet hitting the ground.
" Mordecai, Hyperion!"
He quickly put his shirt back on and I grabbed my rifle. We waited for them so we could ambush them. Mordecai went first, killing engineers as they come around the corner. I took up position on the side shooting loader bots. We were forced to run but Bloodwing had our backs. We ran into Tiny Tinas and we hid. Hearing no gun shots we walked out of Tinas to find that Bloodwing was nowhere in sight.
" Fuck, I should have stayed with her," Mordecai sat on the ground with his head in his hands, I sat next to him.
" It's not your fault, if she didn't stay behind we would not have made it out," I put my arm over his shoulders.
" We will get her back, the new vault hunters will help us," he nodded and he stood up, he held out his hand to me and he helped me up.
" I think I know where they took her but we will have to scope the place out, can't just walk in there,"
With that we made our way to the Wildlife Exploration Preserve.
