Chapter 2

~ 3 months later ~

Phil's POV

"Come on Dan, we're gonna be late !", I shouted up the stairs, "I don't want to be late on our first day". It was the first day of school, and I was surprisingly nervous. We're going to the local high school called Beacon Hills High School. "I'm coming Phil, don't get your balls in a twist", I heard him shout from upstairs.

We had been in Beacon Hills about a week and had just finished unpacking everything in the new house. I had walked around the town a bit, and I didn't know why but I was getting a strange vibe off of it, but I just ignored it.

Dan finally came down the stairs, and we were ready to go. "Well thank you for gracing me with your presence", I said sarcastically, "Oh shut up", Dan said jokingly, "Let's go, bye Mum, bye Dad", and with that we left for our first day of high school.

Dan's POV

To be honest, I was shitting my pants when we first walked in to the school, I was so nervous! But having Phil with me made me feel slightly better. It was so different to anything I had seen before. You see, me and Phil went to an all boys secondary school back in England, and I had gone to an all boys primary school aswell so I had no idea what it was like to be in a mixed school.

I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket and went to check it. "Who is it?", asked Phil. It was Rebecca. She was texting me to wish me good luck on my first day. She has been dealing with the move amazingly since I told her, she's even set a clock to the time zone here, so she knows when to text or call me. I love her so much, and it will be hard here without her, but I think we can stay together through all of this. She's coming to visit in a month or so anyway so it's not like I won't see her.

"It's Rebecca, wishing us good luck on our first day", I replied back to Phil. "Oh well tell her I say hi" ,he said, "Anyway we better head to the office now to get our schedule's and stuff".

We headed to the office, and there was a girl waiting there, I think she was new too. We went to the reception where they gave us our schedules and they told us to sit and wait for the principal to come out and he would show us to our first class. We sat down next to the girl. She had long brown hair, brown eyes and pale skin, in a way she lind of reminded me of Rebecca.

"So you're new too? I'm Alison, and you are?", she said to me. "Yeah, we are, I'm Phil and this is Dan", Phil answered before I got the chance to myself. "Yeah.." I said, not really knowing what to say now that Phil had taken my answer. "Oh cool, at least I won't be on my own, so you're from the UK?" she said. "Yeah, we're from England" I said, not giving Phil the chance to this time. "That's so cool, i've been to London a few times and I really loved it". Before we got the chance to answer the principal came out of his office to show us to our first class. Luckily we all had our first class together so we talked with Alison all the way down.

When we reached the classroom the principal went in first and introduced us all. I noticed one of the guys was staring at Alison weirdly and I wondered if they knew eachother some how, but I didn't get a chance to ask because we were told to sit down.

I sat down towards the back next to some guy and Phil sat behind me. The guys introduced himself as Stiles, he said it was a nickname because of his last name Stilinski. We talked with Stiles for the rest of the class and he seemed really nice. After class he introduced us to his friend Scott, who had been the weird one staring at Alison. It turned out we all had the next few classes before lunch together so we walked with them to our other classes.

At lunch they asked us to sit with them, so we did. "So" Scott said "Are you gonna try out for the lacrosse team?" "What's lacrosse?" Phil asked. "Well it's like field hockey, except the sticks have nets on top that you catch the ball in and then you sort of throw it into a goal to score, tryouts are tomorrow if you want to come?" Me and Phil looked at eachother. Neither of us had ever been sporty, and I had asthma so we knew we wouldn't try out but for the sake of Scott we said maybe.

"So", Stiles started, "Did you guys hear about the body they found in the woods?" All of us shook our heads. "Some hikers found it when they were out there, but here's the strange part, they only found half! I think we should go look for the other half tonight!"

The thought of that body almost made me puke, but I wanted to make some friends, so I agreed and so did Phil and Scott.

"Great! We'll meet at the school at around 9 o'clock".
