Chapter 2

I just woke up.I looked up and saw Angel crying.I have no idea why she would be crying.Maybe it is because of Patches.I feel so bad about her crying.

"What is wrong,"I ask her.

"Mom and Dad think Patches is dying,"she said crying.

"They could be wrong.We haven't called the vet yet for Patches,"I said trying to make her happy again.If she was ever happy that is.

"Cheer up Angel,"I said to her.

"I just can't.Just go away Amanda,please,"she said.

"But Angel,"I said.

"I said go away Amanda,"she snapped at me.

Angel has never been like that to me before.I hope she is okay.I know she loves Patches but she can't just be mean to her family because of Patches.I walked back into our room and see Angel on her phone.She has tear stains down her face.At least she stopped crying.

"Who are you talking to,"I asked her.

"Just my friend,"she said.

"Look,I'm sorry I was mean to you earlier.I just wanted some time to myself,"Angel said.

"That is okay,"I said to her.

"Girls get down here,"my mom shouted to us from downstairs.

"Maybe it is for Patches,"I said happily.

We ran downstairs to find mom and dad next to a guy that had to be in in his late 40's.He looked half bald.You could see your reflection through his head.My sister and I were laughing at him.

"Girls,please settle down,"my mom said.

"Okay mom,"we said trying to calm down.

<<<Angel's POV>>>

When me and Amanda saw his bald head we just couldn't control laughing.

"Girls,please settle down,"my mom said to us in a mad tone.

"Girls,this is Dr. Marcus.He is from Livestock Veterinary Center,"our mom said.

"Did he check on Patches yet,"Amanda said quickly.

"Yes,I did check on Patches and Patches is pregnant,"Dr. Marcus said with a smile on his face.

Me and Amanda were smiling jumping up and down.I'm glad Patches is not sick.I would not want to loose her.I love her so much.

"Is Patches okay,"Amanda said.

"I'm afraid she may not make it girls,"said Dr. Marcus said.

"What is wrong with her,"I asked

"She has cancer on her heart,"my mom said.

Amanda and I bursted out into tears.I didn't care if anyone was watching us cry.

"Angel,do you think she is able to make it,"Amanda said to me with tears down her face.

"I don't know Amanda,"I said to her sadly with tears streaming down my face.

<<<Mom's POV>>>

The girls looked so sad when I told them about Patches having cancer on her heart.I'm also worried about Patches's baby.What if the baby gets cancer.I just hope the baby is okay.

<<<Amanda's POV>>>

Me and Angel went into her room and saw Brian sitting on our bed. We asked him why are you in our room.

"Brian what are you doing in here,"I asked him politely.

"I wanted to ask you if you found out about Patches yet,"he said with a frown on his face.

"Yes we did and please get out.Me and Angel have to talk,"I said to him.

As soon as he left I saw two heads pop in our room.Why can't anyone just leave me and Angel alone today.They know how much we care about Patches.

<<<Kyle and Luke's POV>>>

We were walking down the hall when we saw Brian come out of Amanda and Angel's room.So we decided to go in.We saw them both crying.Why would they be crying.

<<<Angel's POV>>>

We wanted the twins to get out but they wouldn't move an inch.After 5 minutes we decided to pick them up and carry them out.After we did that me and Amanda got a text from Lilly.

Hey sis I'm coming home to visit u and our family ~ Lilly

K when r u coming home Lil ~ Angel

Tomorrow ~ Lilly

Oh no! She can't come tomorrow.The doctor is coming for Patches and the baby tomorrow.Hopefully she comes after the doctor.

"Amanda Lilly is coming tomorrow,"I said panicked.

"Don't worry ,we'll figure it out okay,"she said in a calming tone.

The rest of the day we played with Patches and tried to spend most of our time together.Just me Patches and Amanda.We rode Patches down past the lake and went for a swim while she lay in the sun eating grass.I think Patches had fun today.I wish could do this everyday.Just the three of us.Oops,I meant to say just the four of us.We can't forget Patches's baby.Even though the baby isn't born yet we still have to include it in everything we all do together.I hope the baby is just like Patches in every way.
