Chapter 4

<<<Mom's POV>>>

It has been three days since I told the kids about Patches.They looked heart broken.I felt so bad for them.I hope they get over it soon.I had just finished making breakfast for the kids.We let them sleep in today because of Patches.I was just about to call upstairs for breakfast but I then heard footsteps come downstairs.I then saw the twins.

"Morning boys,"I said to them.

"Morning,"they said back to me.

"I made breakfast for everyone today guys,"I said to them.

"We're good,"they said to me.

"Okay.It is here if you want it,"I said to them.

I decided to walk into the living room and turned on the tv.The show impractical jokers is on.I love this show.

<<<Amanda's POV>>>

I woke up smelling food.My mom probably made breakfast.I look over to see Angel asleep.I hope Angel is okay.I'm really sad about Patches dying but at least the baby won't be like Patches.Well the baby shouldn't be like her.

"Breakfast,"my mom yelled to us from downstairs.

Everyone started running downstairs except for Angel.

"Angel,aren't you coming,"I called to her from the door way.

"Yeah just give me a minute,"she said to me.

"Ok,"I said to her shrugging my shoulders.

I walked out of my room and saw Brian running down the stairs.He looked back and saw me then stopped like he was going to walk over to me.He walked over to me and was giving me a what's wrong look.

"Are you okay,"he asked me.

"Yeah,"I said to him lying.

I was just trying to say that to make him sure and so he would leave me alone.Once I got downstairs I saw my mom made bacon,eggs,pancakes,and sausage.

3 hours later

I finished eating and decided to take a shower.I got my clothes out and laid them on my bed.I picked out a red shirt with blue jeans.I then got undressed and got in the shower.Once I got done I wrapped a towel around me and got dressed.I looked over and saw Angel still sleeping.I then put on my boots that had dried mud on them.I then heard my phone ding.I looked at it and saw it was from my friend Jack.I've had a crush on him since 1st grade.We've been friends for a long time though.

Hey Amanda Kate!I hadn't seen you since 7th grade ~ Jack

I know it has been such a long time LOL😄 ~ Amanda

Can we hang out together tomorrow ~ Jack

Sure ~ Amanda

After that he didn't text me back.Am I going on a date with my crush.What if I am?Hopefully Brian doesn't tease me about it.I then heard my mom call to us from downstairs.Then I saw Angel wake up.

"Morning sleepyhead,"I said to her laughing.

"Did you eat breakfast,"she asked me.

"Yeah.Leftovers are in the fridge,"I told her.

<<<Angel POV>>>

Amanda had just left the room when I heard her phone ding.I looked at who it was and it was her friend Jack.He said "Where do you want to go tomorrow."

I can't believe my sister is going on a date with her friend.At least I think it is a date.I think I should probably get ready.

"Angel,hurry up and get your butt down here,"my mom yelled at me.

"I'm hurrying mother,"I said to her.

I always say mother to her when I am mad at her.Hopefully whatever it is is important and not stupid.

I went downstairs and went outside where everyone is.They were all standing beside Patches.Then I saw something small laying beside her.It was the baby!

"What do you want to name the baby Angel,"everyone asked me.

"You want me to name the baby,"I told them.

Everybody nodded their head.I looked at Amanda and I saw her smiling at me.She looked so happy and realized how much Amanda loves Patches and thought of something.

"I would like Amanda to help name the baby too mom,"I said to her.

"Really thanx Angel,"she said to me.

"How about Buttercup,"I said to her.

"I love it,"she said to me with a smile.

"She is so adorable,"my mom said.

<<<Brian's POV>>>

I think everyone is happy about Patches and Buttercup.I heard Angel talking about Amanda going somewhere tomorrow.I don't know.And I don't care.

<<<Amanda's POV>>>

I am so happy for Patches and the baby.That is when I remembered about Jack.I hope I can make it for our date/hang out.I really like Jack like as a friend.But what if he thinks of me in a different way.I think I just worry to much.

3 hrs later

I looked at Buttercup and keep petting her.She is so adorable!Then I remember my birthday is next week.I am turning 13.I can't wait.I know I might have said before that me and Angel are two years apart but we are actually only a year apart.I know Jack is older than me by about a year.I think I just need to stop worrying.I just hope tomorrow goes fine.It helps being with Buttercup petting her right now.
