Chapter 2

The Talisman of Power

VLADIMIR

The head master gave us a mission instructing us to get the Talisman of Power at Mt. Harpien. I, together with Ray, John and Mike is going to the said mountain to get that Talisman.

But, it will not be easy because that mountain is the sanctuary of the dangerous Harpy.

Harpy is an entity with the body of a bird and a face of a human.

"Fuck. I'm out of stamina" I said as I release a fireball straight to the Harpy.

Yes. Now, we are having a battle with battalions of Harpies.

I looked at Ray, he is also out of gas.

He used gravity affecting the harpies at the air to drop at the land. As those harpies statued on the land, I used my earth power. I focused my energy on my hand then touched the land creating a huge hole. Using Ray's gravity, he threw out the harpies into the hole, then using my earth power, I closed the hole.

I looked at John. John is a shape shifter. He is currently in Wolf form. He is also tired as fuck.

A Harpy tried to tackle him but fortunately, he avoided it and counter the attack by biting the Harpy's wing.

I shifted my gaze and focused it on Mike. Mike's power is Air. He controls air and yes he can fly. He is now at the air.

I looked him up. Five harpies fly towards him.

Using his air power, he released a strong wind causing the harpies to knocked back.

Mike went down. We gathered, John is in his normal form.

We positioned in defense.

We are all tired and there are still many harpies.

"Mike the Talisman?" I asked Mike.

"Don't worry it's safe"

We already got the Talisman of Power before the harpies came out in nowhere.

"Natalo na natin ang kalahati pero madami pa din sila." Ray said as he breathe heavily.

"I cannot transform anymore. Wala na kong stamina." John said. He is also breathing heavily.

A harpy tried to attacked John. John tried to avoid the attack but he was clawed by harpy.

"John ayos ka lang?" Ray said. panicking.

"Calm down. Maliit na galos lang to."

THIRD PERSON

Sinira ni Mike ang laylayan ng kanyang damit at ito ay itinali sa nagdudugong braso ni John.

"MyLoves wag na. Kaya ko pa naman." Pagtanggi ni John

"Shut up! May galos bang dumudugo?" Inis na sabi ni Mike.

Fuck! What should I do. We'll be dead meat if I didn't do something. Pagbulong ni Vladimir.

Huminga siya ng malalim at ikinalma ang sarili

"To trigger the effect of Talisman. Hold and release energy on it"
