Today marks the one year anniversary of Robin Hood's death. Regina kind of acted like she didn't remember, but everyone knew that was the only thing on her mind. The usual gang wanted to get together today to help Regina. So Emma, Snow, Charming, Hook, Zelena, Henry, and Belle all invited Regina to lunch at Granny's.
" I can sit you guys over here if you like," asked Ruby?
" Sure! That would be lovely. Thank you Ruby," said Snow.
Then Regina walked in with a blank look on her face. It was like there was no one home inside her soul.
" Hey Regina, how are you," wondered Emma?
" Listen, I know what you guys are doing. You're trying to pity me because you all know what day it is. Well, I don't want your pity. Frankly, i'm fine, and definitely don't need your help with it. So can we just have a nice lunch without you guys trying to pity me, please," stated Regina.
Everyone said nothing, and just sat down and opened their menus. Ruby walked up to their table to come take their orders.
" Ruby, may I have two grilled cheese sandwiches," asked Emma?
" And may I have a regular hamburger without onions, please," ordered Belle.
" Yes, of course. And for you Regina," asked Ruby?
" Nothing I am not hungry today," said Regina.
" Are you sure you're okay mom. You aren't acting like yourself?" Wondered Henry.
Then Regina got up and kicked her chair sideways and yelled, " I'm fine! What did I tell you guys? Not to pity me, and what do you go and do, pity me. If this is the way you're going to treat me, then I don't wish to stay any longer."
" Regina, wait! Please let us help you," begged Snow.
Regina went straight out the door and slammed it.
" Who do they think they are. Judging me like that. Thinking I need to be pitied because of today.
Then as Regina walked down the sidewalk steaming mad. A stranger came out from a dark alley way. The stranger was just a small teenage girl with black hair and dark brown eyes.
" Man, isn't family just a pain in the ass," said the girl
" Excuse me. Who are you child," asked Regina?
" Well, I am a girl who doesn't like labels, so she doesn't give her name out, it could be dangerous, you see."
" Okay, then so what do I call you?"
" Just call me, mystery girl, for now. Sooner or later I will tell you my name when the time is right, but until then, its mystery girl."
Regina scanned the mystery girl over, and was very suspicious about her in general.
" Well I have places to be, so I have to leave now, bye," Regina said frantically.
" Funny, where would a person have to be when her whole family is in there, and today is the one year anniversary of her boyfriend's death."
Regina turned around quick. So shocked and surprised she started to choke the girl.
" Where did you here this from?"
Regina dropped the girl's neck, so she could answer her question. As the girl was coughing and clearing her throat, she began to answer her question.
" Regina don't worry, I have been searching for you basically, my whole life. I know everything about you."
" Oh great, I just not suppose to worry that a little girl, who I know nothing about, knows everything about me."
Worried like crap, Regina ran away.
" I don't know where you think you're going. If you're trying to hind from me it won't work, I know exactly where you're going. You're going to your dear old boyfriend's grave to put flowers on it," said mystery girl.
Regina stopped to wonder how this little girl could have possibly known that. Even know she knew that the mystery girl knew where she was going, she still went to pay her respect to Robin. She stopped by the Game of Thorns shop to pick up a bunch of roses. Then she tried to swiftly make her way over to the grave yard where Robin was. Regina walked up slowly to Robin's grave to say a few words.
" I hope you're doing good wherever Hades sent you. You know there isn't s day that's goes by that I don't think of you and us. A lot of people in Storybrooke really miss you. I'm sure Roland misses you a lot. And I miss you a lot."
Regina starts to cry hard. She puts the roses down on the grave, then kisses her finger and softly places her fingers down on the flowers. She curls down next to the grave and sobs uncontrollably. Then Emma walks up quietly without Regina's knowledge, and sits right beside her.
" I thought I'd find you here," said Emma.
Hearing Emma's voice makes Regina peek her head up from her little ball she has made with her legs.
" You know everyone was looking for you when you stormed out of Granny's. I saw you talking to some girl, who was she," asked Emma?
" I don't know, she won't give me her name. She told me just to call her mystery girl," said Regina as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
" Mystery girl. Oh, what an interesting name," stated Emma.
" Yeah, that's what I thought, but an even weirder part was she already knew my name and where I was going as I was running away from her."
" Yeah, that sure is strange for a little girl to know all that. Do you know of anyone who may have seen her around town before?"
" No, not that I know of," Regina said softly
" Come on Regina, it's time to get up. Wipe away your tears and I will take you home because you are way too upset to drive tonight."
Regina didn't say anything she just got up and followed Emma to her car.
" You know we could have helped you? All we wanted to do is help you because we all knew how hard this time must be for you. You can't just shut us out like that again. We're always going to be there to help you. Regina, you just got to help us by simply letting us in."
" Thank you miss Swan, but not a single one of you know exactly how I feel. The only one that comes close is Zelena, but it's still different in many ways."
" That is all true, but that doesn't give you a reason to not let us help you through your difficult times."
" I just miss Robin so much. It's really hard sometimes when you know that one of the only people in the world who believed in you, and that you can do good is dead."
Regina starts to cry again.
" Regina, you do know that I believe in you and that you can good do, right?"
Regina lifts her head up and looks at Emma and blushes a little.
" Thank you."
Then they drive to Regina's house not saying a word after that. Once they get to Regina's house, Emma pulls up in the driveway, and let's Regina out. Right before Regina walks in and closes the door she says, " thank you again miss Swan. I really mean it, thank you."
" Your welcome Regina," Emma says soft and sweet.
