When the moon comes out to play, the sun man goes to sleep.
The moon lady misses the sun man and his enthusiastic personality.
The moon lady brings all of her animal friends to the coast,
Where the water splishes and sploshes against the sand.
She gazes upon the night sky and closed her eyes,
Imagining the sun man beside her.
Tears form in her eyes as they slide down her face.
She buries her face in her hands,
Knowing that she will not be able to see the sun man during the night.
Her animal friends gave her endless affection to calm her mind.
They hated to see their mistress cry.

The sun man heard sobbing and wandered towards the sound.
There, in the grass, lay the moon lady, tears staining her face.
"What is the matter? Why are you crying?" The sun man asked.
She shyly looked up at the sun man and said," I have missed your presence and have wished to see you again."
The sun man was touched by her words so he smiled and said," I have missed your presence as well. May I comfort you?"
She nodded as she sat up and allowed him to sit next to her.
"Thank you for hearing my call." She whispered softly.
"It was my pleasure." He murmured quietly as he glanced at the stars along with the moon lady.
"Beautiful, aren't they?" The moon lady exclaimed in awe.
The sun man nodded his head up and down vertically, as of the excitement ran through his nerves.
The moon lady rested her head on his shoulder, as the sun man laid his head on her head.
He smiled to himself, knowing that she was at ease and satisfied with his presence.
They both drifted to sleep, along with the moon lady's animal friends surrounding them like a protective fence.
