Love Denied

When love is denied
and must be hidden inside
It is being suffocated
and doesn't have room to grow
It doesn't live in truth
It is treated like an ugly secret
even when it has no bad intent
Love cannot survive
and can wither and die
Deny its existence and someday your denial will be real
