"Eomma! No! I'm not marrying some guy you picked up from the street!" So Yeon screamed as he mother took her wrist and opened the door to the shoo, causing the bell inside the shop to chime.

"I didn't, remember when I went to Daegu last week? I picked him up there." So Yeon's mother smiled as she grunted, pulling her wrist out of her mother's grip as she stormed down the sidewalk. She just made a scene and embarrassed herself, but she honestly didn't give a fuck at that moment.

"It's written in Hangeul."

"You think I can't see that?"

So Yeon heard some words from inside the damp dark alleyway to her right as she passed it. Backtracking, literally, she turned her head and peeked in. Two shadows at the end of the alley, looking at something in the shorter one's palm.

"This is so different from in Los Angeles. I can't read this stuff."

So Yeon figured they were American, since they spoke fluent and accented English. One of them spoke with a Korean accent but the other an American, but then a third person came into view.

"We are only hear to look for Yoongi, don't forget that." The third voice piped as four other shadows appeared.

"Yeah, so, you gonna help us or what?" The Korean accented English spoke again. So, the third wheel was American, and six of them were Korean.

So Yeon then realised what they were saying. She honestly considered walking up to them and telling, but she didn't. Not because she wanted to marry him, but because her mother could be caught. Sent to prison. So Yeon would rather set him free herself on the condition he didn't tell. If she lost her mother, her father would go insane and probably leave her to fend for herself.

So Yeon continued walking, passing a bakery and a hair salon, coming to a raised train track. She settled beneath it and leaned on one of the pillars. She felt like crying. Not because she was going to marry that guy, but because that guy was brought here without his consent. So Yeon figured he was probably famous, somewhere, somehow, she hadn't heard of him.

She pulled out her phone and began swishing through social media, under the raised tracks that occasionally let out creaks or cracks as the trains bounded on them. Suddenly, a piece of news, an article, caught her eye.

!BTS Kpop Star Missing!
~ a member of BTS by the name of Min Yoongi has disappeared on his recent trip to Daegu.
~ BTS members are doing their all to find him, and in the past days since he went missing on 19 June, they have travelled from Daegu to Busan to Seoul.

So Yeon was right. He was famous, and there was probably a huge reward going to anyone that found him. But she wasn't after the reward. She honestly wanted him to have freedom and to go back to his friends. Why don't I run home, and reach before eomma!

So Yeon got to her feet and didn't look behind her. Not seeing the small little item she left lying on the grass beneath the train tracks.

"Yoongi?" So Yeon opened the door wearily as she looked around. There was no sign of anyone upstairs, but there were shouts coming from downstairs.

As So Yeon neared the door to the basement, she set her ear on it and heard her mother's voice, and screaming back, Yoongi's. She twisted the doorknob and set down her purse on the floor outside the basement door.

She climbed the stairs downward, hidden behind the basement door as it closed. There was a dim evening orange light glowing from downstairs and two shadows. Mother and Yoongi.

"Eomma?" So Yeon said as the two turned their heads.

"So Yeon! You see, all I was doing was teaching him a lesson. He tried to push me, dear."

Looking on, So Yeon saw Yoongi's arms littered with scars as he stared up at her. He wasn't afraid. He wasn't in pain. It was obvious he let him do what she wanted.

"I honestly couldn't care less. I'm taking this to the police. You're getting seriously abusive, and I don't like it!" So Yeon screamed as her mother stepped back.

She was taken aback as So Yeon rushed over to Yoongi, who just sat there rubbing his own arms. The scars were fresh, and it was obvious that they were made with a penknife.

"What did she do?" So Yeon asked as she unbuckled the chains around Yoongi's wrists.

"Cut me, with a penknife. More specifically, the red penknife, while I was chained to the wall. That's all, and yes, I did try to push her." Yoongi mumbled as So Yeon sighed.

"If you like him so much, stay down here with him. Slut." So Yeon's mother hissed as she slammed the door.
