*2 months later. 3rd person POV*

All was well in the Stark Tower. The Avengers had moved in and everyone was settling in well. Exactly 2 months after the Battle of New York the Avengers celebrated Kiera's 18th birthday. It had been a large party with celebrities, superheroes, and of course friends. Kiera had even met a kid around her age. His name was Peter and he seemed pretty cool. She hoped he would come to more Tower parties. He was terrific at planning pranks and she knew that there was something special about him, but she couldn't place a finger on what it was.

The next day Steve took Kiera out on their first official date. They went to a diner that had been around before Steve had become Captain America. They got to know each other better and Kiera learned about Steve's best friend Bucky. The story was sad and it clearly made Steve upset, but Kiera was there to comfort him.

They returned to the tower that night and the young couple kissed each other goodnight and went to their separate rooms. They both sighed with happiness and retired to bed that night with a smile etched on their faces.

*Asgard/ 3rd person POV*

Loki chuckled in his prison cell. He was sitting down, staring at Kiera. He was listening to her tell stories. She was making him laugh. He was content. Until a guard knocked on his cell.

Kiera disappeared into a mist and a plate of food took her place.

Loki looked at it with slight disdain. He was used to eating food of the Gods, not mediocre prison food.

Loki got up and moved to a corner of his cell thinking.

He will get her back.

He decided to test his spell to see if it had worked.

His eyes gleamed an icy blue.

In New York, Kiera opened her eyes suddenly. She slowly sat up and her eyes gleamed blue.

They both smirked.

"You called my King?"
