A duet

Katie's POV
I switched places with Jin so I could sit next to y/n, I needed to talk to her.
Katie: "Hey... are you doing okay with Kookie? I mean I know you like Jimin but I can't stand to see Jungkook like this! We have to do something to cheer him up!"
y/n: "Like what?"
Katie: "Uh maybe you could sing a duet with him that's more than 15 seconds long, like a whole song, I know he loves to sing with you!"
y/n: "We could do 'Nothing Like Us' I know the words and so does he!"
Katie: "Okay I have a plan, everyone said they were tired of this game, so we will stop, then you can talk to Jungkook and I'll get the song ready to play, and connect my phone to a speaker, so you and Jungkook can duet!"
You: "Okay!"
Everyone started to get up and go to sit somewhere other than the floor. Y/N grabbed Jungkook by the arm and whispered to
him something and his face lit up.
Your POV
I went to Jungkook and I told him this;
You: "Hey Jungkook I know you have a crush on me, but you know I'm dating Jimin and I know you're upset, so I wanna do something to cheer you up!"
Jungkook: *smiles slightly* "What?"
You: "Well I wanna sing a duet with you, you and I know the song, I'll take the first verse we both sing the chorus, you take the second verse and so on!"
Jungkook: *smiles really wide* "Really?! I know you hate singing in front of people and saying you want to do a duet with me? Ah you're so nice! So are we gonna perform it for Katie and the other members? And what song?"
You: "Yes we are going to perform it! And 'Nothing Like Us'!"
Jungkook: "Ah I love that song!"
He hugged me.
Me: "Are you ready?"
He nodded. I gave Katie a thumbs up for her to start the music. Katie had told everyone we were performing. The song started and you took the first verse.

Katie: "Tell me how I've been you're best friend for 10 years and didn't know you were that good?"
You: "I don't know. *laugh*"
I went over and hugged Jimin, he looked a little jealous.
You: "Ah Jimin baby don't be jealous me and Kookie are friends! I promise you are the only one for me!"
His jealousy faded away after I said that.
You: "Jungkook!"
Jungkook: "Yes y/n?"
You: "We should duet more often!"
Jungkook: *cutely blushing* "Ah yeah definitely!"
I hugged the nerd, and I was glad Kookie wasn't sad anymore. He still had feelings for me, but they'd fade eventually, at least I hope...
