*chapter 2.*

I ran over to the truck and stabbed the first zombie that was there, and I kicked three out of my way.Throwing open the door I grabbed Destiny and took off a few feet so that we were away from the walking dead. I threw Destiny onto my back so that I had my hands free and grabbed my gun from my back pocket. I loosed it up and shoot one of the zombies close to the car. I felt blood hit my neck and turned to see that Mariah had taken out almost all the rest while Austin was fiddling with two and knocked there heads together then stabbing them. Dead. He looked at me and all of us went back towered the truck to check out if the walking dead actually got into the truck. Nope cost was clear. I made a double take and made sure there was nothing contaminated. Everything was good, I hoped in the front seat and said" okay next stop, Megan's house" and we were on our way.

Skittles mom pov.

I felt really bad about leaving Skyler. But she was no where to be found, and we had to go. Otherwise we would have been stuck at the house no way out. I know she can take care if her self. She would always be playing these zombie games. Well anyways were meting up with Laura at the safe house. The safe house was something we had started building a year ago, it's very protected. Which was why we called it the safe house. Well actually we started building it when we found out zombies would be coming. Its hidden inside a mountain. The inside layer is concrete . The second inside layer is steel bars, and there's another layer of concrete and more steel bars. There is a secret door . To get out if there's a emergency. Only can be used once.

Skyler pov.

Alright we are pulling up on
Elizabeth st. Which was Megan's street. Dude this street is loaded with zombies! "Alright, we need to kick ass fast. Des your going to have some part in this. Austin I want you to sit on the sun roof with the two pistols and just go off. But don't shoot directly at the garage because she in there waiting for my signal." I said," I'm going to hit some of the zombies with the truck. That will take some of them down. Me and Mariah will shoot from the windows. alright let's go!" I stomped down on the gas and squealed the tires. Turning into the drive way. I hit about 5 zombies full force and killed them, the rest I hit weren't really hurt. I heard Austin shooting and them i saw 3 zombies fall in front of me. Out if the corner of my eye I saw Mariah shoot off her gun and 2 more zombies fell. That left about 15 more. I pulled out of the drive way and stomped on the gas again. I killed another 3 zombies with that speed." Destiny, come out of the truck with me. You can help me with some of the action." I stepped out of the truck and Mariah took my place in the drivers seat. Destiny got out and went to the front of the truck and started shooting at one zombies head, and it popped of with the second hit. I took my own battle with one and kicked it in the stomach and shot its head right off. I checked up on destiny and she was getting double teamed I walked up and upper cutted the zombie with my gun making him stumble and destiny shot him. Then she kicked one zombies legs out from underneath him and he fell to the floor and we shot him at the same time. " Des lets hit the car!" I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the back seat with me. I shut and locked the door. Mariah slammed on the gas and we flew forward not really ready for it and she took out 4 zombies with the impact of the hit." Lemme have the wheel Mariah, I have a plan. We switched spots and Austin slid back into the car and shut the sun roof. I backed out of the driveway and down the street. I took out my phone and called Megan. "Hey meg it's skittles I'm down the street to the left. Pull out of your garage really fast and pull down the street ill be waiting in the extended cab. The zombies are following me. " I mumbled into the phone." K" she said and hung up. " Destiny come here we're going to get you practicing on the zombies walking down the street." I said as I was opening my door. "Okay" she said and got out. I gave her the mini gun." Okay now try to get a head shoot. That's important cuz he would be dead instantly. And it's just good to have good aim period." I said. She nodded and aimed her gun, "like this?" She was holding her gun with both hands around the barrel shoulder height......well to her anyways. " yup just like that now pull the trigger, and try not to jerk back." She closed one of her eyes and shot a pretty good head shot and skimmed the zombies head, but he fell to the ground. She was going to shoot the next one but we didn't have much time, the little red car flew out of the garage and on its way down the street. "get in the back seat!" She was already running to the car. Megan went around the zombies and stopped in front of me. She jumped out of the car with 2 bags already in her hand.

The zombies were getting close, I ran over to her and gabbed the bags out of her hands and told her to hurry and get the others. I walked two feet and threw the bags in the cab of the truck and jumped in the front seat. I saw Megan shut the back of the truck and jump in the back seat. I stepped on the gas and we got off Elizabeth street onto the main road. I looked around for a gas station to settle down at for a little while." We're going to have to stop for a bit and come up with a plan. And in a little while guys were going to have to jump this truck. Because we don't want anybody to follow us." I said "we should stop at that gas station up ahead, and check up on stuff." Said Destiny. She wasn't that scared anymore. " yeah I think that's what we're going to do, we might as well grab some more food and stuff while we are at it." I said as I looked into the review mirror. Nothing was really following us. I sped up and pulled into the gas station." Alright Austin I want you to stay out here and wait for me to put some gas in the tank. Mariah you come with me, ohh Destiny I want you to shoot those zombies coming our way." I said as I got out and shut the car door." K sounds like a plan." Destiny said. I ran into the store, with Mariah on my heels. " okay grab as much Pepsi and sugary snacks as you can within 2 minutes. We don't have that long." I said raising my voice. Mariah voice wasn't as steady either. " I kinda figured we didn't have much time" I jumped behind the Cash register which was left open and gabbed the money that was left. Then I punched in station 4. Then enter. I hoped back over the counter and pushed open the door." Start pumping the gas." I screamed. I went to the car fixing part of the gas station and grabbed a few crow bars. And ran back into the store" Mariah lets go!" We ran out of the store together and I threw the crow bars on the floor in the front seat. I looked Over to destiny sanding in the road shooting a zombie, an to be honest she looked like she was having fun out of the corner of my eye I saw Austin close the gas tank up and put the nozzle away. Mariah got in the car and so did Austin. I looked back over at destiny and she was starting to get swarmed by zombies. She was standing there smacking her gun in her hand(the gun NOT facing her) nobody told her how to reload her gun! shit!!!!! I made a snap decision and grabbed the Uzi from the back, and jumped out of the front seat. I was a couple feet away from her when I saw a zombie running. I shot it not once but twice in the head but it still didn't die." DESTINY MOVE!" She stopped smacking her gun on her hand and looked up. But right when she did the zombie landed right on top of her, I threw my Uzi on the ground and yanked the zombie off or her and it fell the ground and destiny grabbed the Uzi and shot it. And it still didn't die! An I couldn't BELIEVE it. "gimme this" I said yanking the gun from her and hitting the zombie in the head, it fell on the ground and I shot the zombie again and this time it died. " good job Des" I said and helped her up from the ground and pulling her to the car." Let's go!" I jumped in the drivers side and we were in the road to........ Well actually I don't know where where heading just yet.
