"Simon, i'm serious. We have to make it big this year. It has to be the best one yet!" I said with much enthusiasm, so very eager to start off senior year of high school. Don't ask me why.
"Yet you're still mowing Millie Brown's lawn for a damn camera, Finn." Simon always picks on me for having a crush on Millie; Captain of the cheerleading team. Most popular girl in school. He thinks a girl like her would never even notice a guy like me. Nerdy.
I scoffed at his ridiculousness. "Shut up, Simon. I don't see you being productive or working at something to get what you want now do i? Plus, Millie has noticed me. She's always giving me smiles when she sees me okay." I punched him playfully.
"Oh Finn, it's not my fault you're in love." He gave me a small nudge and smirked at me.
"wha- me? in love? no, not even close." He rolled his eyes in disbelief at my response. I shook my head and furrowed my eyebrows.
Me? In love? No. It's just Millie Bobby Brown.

It is scorching hot today. I take my hat off as I wipe the sweat off of my forehead. I reached down for the icy cool water that was on the smooth grass. I looked up and saw her. She was with her friends so of course she would not acknowledge me, only smile at me like she has always done.
She looked over at me and gave me a small smile. Small enough to hide it from those girls, Maddie Ziegler and Sadie Sink. I smiled back at her of course while the other two didn't even know i was there, but i don't care i don't even give a shit about them.
I rolled my eyes as I saw the ginger flip her hair and laughing at me finally noticing I was alive in front of her. These girls need to stop thinking they rule the fucking school. It's high school for Christ sake.
"Millie! I told you not to use this credit card, Jesus." Millie looked back at me in embarrassment as her mom was scolding her.
"Mother, school starts on Monday. I have to fix myself up for it, duh." Her friends were giggling as I rolled my eyes in such disgust.
"Honey, you're almost 18 you need to learn to take responsibility. Why can't you be more grown up and mature like the Wolfhard boy?" She gestured her hand my way and Millie looked back at me. She laughed.
"Oh mother, please stop joking and get serious." She said as she ran inside with her friends and those shopping bags of hers.
I didn't let it bother me because it doesn't bother me. All the populars just sit around and talk massive shit about others and bully them as well so why should I be upset?
I continued mowing the lawn until I was done with the job and took the mower back home. I saw my brother with his damn friends where the fu-
"Noah get the hell down from the treehouse now! What did mom say? You're going to fucking fall." I shouted at my brother who never listens. Of course he rolled his eyes back in response and my comment caused his friends to laugh.
"Shut the fuck up you nerd."
"Love you too little bro."

Millie's povI followed my friends into my room and shut the door behind me. I don't like my friends. All they do is figure out ways to become even more popular and that's why we went shopping today. What I said about Finn, it wasn't actually me. That was the bitchy me trying to show off to my friends I guess.
The thing is, I've always wanted to be friends with Finn Wolfhard since we were kids. But never had the guts to even go up to him. I smile at him every time i see him though. He's kinda cute, that jawline, those cheekbones... oh that fluffy cute hair and those pretty brown ey-
"Millie what the fuck?" Maddie said snapping me back into reality.
"Uh hello?" Sadie said as she smacked her bubble gum and made bubbles with her mouth.
I fucking hate them. "Oh sorry what happened?" They both rolled their eyes at me and just continued.
"I said, turn on channel 10, Romeo's on."
Romeo Beckham is my boyfriend. Well, I'm not sure about that anymore because he's a freshman.. at Georgia State University. He's continuing football there, i guess. He's the most popular Football player at West Chester High School. He's such a beauty though.
The girls ran to the TV with excitement and giggles. "What is the one thing that made you happy and that you miss the most back home?" The interviewer asked him.
My face started to light up with excitement as I put my head down to cover it. "Oh my gosh, Millie's name on TV!" Sadie yelled. "Oh millie you're so lucky!" Maddie squeals.
"Oh I really miss those in-n-out burgers, you know they don't have them anywhere near here. Man that was my favorite place oh those juicy hamburgers. Those were amazing." Romeo responded, not even a look of guilt on his face.
I looked down and Sadie licked her lips as if it was a way to show she felt embarrassed for me while Maddie tried comforting me. "Oh Millie it's okay."
"No c'mon guys I'm fine. You know there's a lot on his mind. Football, school I'm okay!" I put a smile on my face and placed a strand of my hair behind my ear.
Sadie yelled, "C'mon we're going to be late let's go girls!" Apparently, we had to get going for cheer practice of course.
The girls ran out of my room. I had found Romeo's jersey sweater he had let me keep and I threw it on the bed. I looked at my door with mixed feelings of disgust and sadness thinking if he had forgotten about me. I walked out of the room while I slammed the door and on my way.
