I had just stepped into my dad's house and taken off my jacket before Louis started giving me a lecture. "Want to explain to me what you was playing at back there?" Louis' voice was angry and stern, I let out a sigh as I hung up my jacket. "It's not what you-" I started to try and defend myself but Louis cut me off quickly. "Don't give me that Frankie. I saw you both looking cosy in the car, he is taken Frankie....by your best friend!" Louis scolded me, I felt like a little kid being told off for misbehaving. I stormed into the kitchen and started making myself something to eat. "She's not exactly my best friend anymore."
I started buttering my bread when Louis snatched it from me and turned my whole body to face him. "I want answers now." Louis told me angrily, his wavy fringe dropped infront of his face but was soon brushed back off to the side, his face still close to mine. "Well?!" Louis' harsh tone made me jump and I scowled at him. "Lay off me alright? Harry is just a good friend and we have been getting on a lot lately." My eyes were stuck on Louis' as he huffed in reply. "You're not just good friends, Harry likes you I could tell from the first viewing of that God damn house." His voice was more calmer now. Good job as well because I feel like I am going to have a breakdown.
"Look, I'm sorry alright? I'm sorry Louis." I sighed in defeat. "We have been too close I know. I tried to fight it Louis I really did, I told Harry that he has no right to be fooling about when he has Grace but he says he isn't happy with her and-" I sat down and wrapped my arms around myself. "I stupidly fell for him, I'm sorry." My eyes peeked up at Louis as he was perched against the counter.
"It's not me who you should be apologising to." He shook his head then wiped down hia jacket. "I'm just glad I'm not you when Grace finds out." Louis looks at me and I look at him.
"There's no need to be so cold with me Lou. I didn't do it intentionally, I'm not that cruel." I huffed and carried on making my sandwich, my dad came through the door suddenly and smiled at us both. "Alright Lou, Franks?" I looked back at him and smiled. "Hi dad." My dad went back off out to his car to get something and Louis glanced at me. "This discussion isn't done." Louis reminded me and I quietly snapped at him. "Alright, give me a break!"
My dad came back in so I tried to act as normal as possible. If Louis tells my dad I will want to run so far away and never return. I grabbed my sandwiches and went off into the living room to watch tele and wallow in my self pity.
I felt Louis slowly sit down next to me on sofa, he nudged me and whispered. "I'm sorry for being off with you back then, I was just in shock..." he let out a big sigh then glanced at me. "We still ok?" he asked.
I glanced once into his blue, forgiving eyes and nodded as I held his hand. "Sure we are." I fiddled with my hair then looked at him again. "Where's my dad?" I asked. Louis looked back at me. "He's in the garden don't worry, I haven't told him either." I nodded and let out a sigh of relief. "Wonder what he'll think of me when he does find out." I welled up and just carried on watching tv.
"Heyyy don't be upset Franks." He pulled into his arms and I instantly closed my eyes with tiredness. "What am I going to do Lou? I don't want to hurt anybody." I chewed on my lip warily. "I had to be the stupid one." I slowly stood up then looked back at Louis. "I'll see you tomorrow sometime, I'm going to get an early night." I smiled slightly then slumped off upstairs to get some rest.
