I couldn't hold back a smile when Brandon said that. Usually, I don't fall for guys that easily...actually, I don't think I've ever fallen for a guy, but something about him made me let my guard down. It wasn't because he said that I have a beautiful name and all of that...it was the way he said it. I don't know, I can't really explain it.
It was like he wanted me to smile again because he said, "I never seen any eye color like that before. They're so...beautiful."
"Thank you...", I said, trying so hard not to blush. He just kept smiling at me. The way he smiled at me was kinda like how...Bryce...smiled at me...
Focus, Krystianna! There's a cute boy that's making your heart rate speed up right in front of you!
"So, uh...hope I'll actually get to see you at school on Monday. See ya around...Krystianna." He winked at me then turned on his heal and left.
"See ya..." I was so distracted that I didn't even hear the girl behind the counter talking to me. "Next!" I quickly turned around. "Oh! Sorry, I was...distracted."
She gave me a reassuring smile. "It's fine! Any girl would get distracted by a cute boy." Yeah, but I usually don't. "So, what would you like to order?"
"One large pepperoni pizza...with extra cheese, please. Oh, can you cut it into squares?" She nodded then yelled my order to someone in the back. "Your food will be ready in fifteen minutes." I thanked her then paid her.
I walked back over to the girls and saw them gawking at some guys. I rolled my eyes. "Hello? Are you guys done gawking at those guys, yet?" They quickly turned around.
"Sorry, we were just appreciating the football players' looks.", Lacey said. I looked over at the guys, who were now walking our way, and asked, "They're on the football team? I thought you all had boyfriends anyway." They looked at me as if they just found out that I'm an alien. "What?"
"What do you mean 'they're on the football team?'?! We've been to EVERY single one of their games! We literally dance at EVERY one of their games! How could you NOT know that they're on the football team? And, yeah, we do. It's not like we're doing anything with them...we're just looking.", Destiny said, looking back at the football players.
"Well, it's not my fault I don't pay attention to them. I have better things to be doing than to be watching a bunch of stupid jocks running around with a ball.", I said, bluntly.
"Ouch! That kinda hurt!"
I looked up and saw one of the football players holding his hand to his heart.
He was tall-they all were-with brown eyes, brown hair, which was cut short on the sides and back of his head with the rest of his curly hair sticking out (just like Love's hair) and was mixed. He had on a varsity football jacket with jeans, along with everyone else. He was attractive, along with all the other football players.
"Yeah, we stupid jocks have feelings, too, ya know.", another one said. "The name's Ashton. You girls on the dance team, right?" He was asking me more than he was asking the other girls.
I nodded in response. He was Caucasian with black hair, which was in a short messy hairstyle with the sides and back of his head shortly trimmed, and grey eyes. He had a tongue piercing.
He just stared at me for a couple of seconds before someone else said something. I realized he was one of Bryce's friends that came to the ice cream shack with Dominique.
"Yeah, y'all girls really do y'all thang out there. I'm Jayden and that guy that said 'ouch' is Jaxon. That's Braeden right there, then Antonio, Miguel, Isaac, Isaiah, Kade, Karson, Malcolm, Omar, and Rickey.", he pointed to the rest of the football players.
