(jesse's pov)
i startle awake. it was around 5:00am. i'm thirsty, so i get up for a drink of water. as i make my way down the creepy stairs, i notice that it's still eerily dark. usually around this time the sun is rising. huh.
i fill my cup up with water and look outside the window located above the sink. i fall back as i see a dark figure outside. i was terrified. even though i couldn't see the face, the shape was definitely a human body. i stand back up, maybe it's my mind playing tricks. but it's not.
as i look closer, i realize the figure isn't outside, it's a reflection of someone inside.
