Chapter 4 The Protection Detail

Before Logan and Jake could say anything about what had just happened I briskly walked back into the apartment. I was hesitant to look at them so I looked around the apartment. The floors were wooden and it was decorated lavishly, white sofas sat in front of a large flat screen tv. I could see that there were rooms further in the back of the apartment and a room to my right. I looked in to see an office setting and a large desk made of a dark black wood. I heard the door close meaning they had walked back into the apartment. "I can understand why you don't want me to leave the pack house, but understand that I want my sisters safe now!" I said turning to face them. When I finished my statement I saw Logan and Jake squirm like they were being scolded. "Lily we can't have humans in our apartment we conduct Alpha business in here." Jake said looking at me alittle sad. Then Logan got a smile. "I have an idea...what if we give them a close room near the apartment, that they can come visit you whenever they want and we will post guards at there door for there protection."

I smiled at Logan,happy with his idea. Just as I was as about to go sit on the sofa I heard Logan say "but only if you can get me to the ground and keep me pinned till the count of five." He smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist bringing his lips close to my ear. "Come on princess...show me that Beta power we were hearing so much about." I felt myself getting more angry at the fact he was gonna test me. I smiled and started to chuckle.

"Fine Logan as you wish." I said quickly turning in his arms and putting one hand around his neck and the other on his chest. I brought my face closer to his. Just as we got less then a few inches away from our lips touching I swept his leg from under him and we fell to the ground. "one..two..three..four...five.." I smiled at him and sat up. He smiled at me and his eyes started to glow, I looked at him slightly confused. "Oh yea don't move babe I'm loving the view." He said as he put his hands on my hips. I didn't realize what he meant till I looked at how we were. I was sitting there straddling his lower half. I blushed madly as I started to get up.

I looked at him still blushing as he stayed laying on the ground for a moment, and closed his eyes. He seemed to be more calm when his eyes opened again, there were no longer glowing. As he got up I could see that my hair tie had come out of my hair. Jake had dismissed himself during Logan and my wrestle to go check on Tanner. I didn't even think much of his dismissal due to knowing how Tanner acts. I felt Logan wrap his arms around my waist. Ignoring his action I bent over to pick up my hair tie, Logan seeing an opening pressed his hips into my body.

I jumped slightly at his action and stopped moving all together. I looked up at him expecting him to leg go and walk away but he didn't. "Logan...what are you doing?" I asked him trying to stand back up but not really able to when I felt something hard poking me. "I just can't really help it my wolf took control." He said his eyes glowing. "Well let go so I can get up." I said in a commanding tone. He looked slightly pained that I said to stop touching me. " I don't want you to not touch me it's just we just met and we hardly know each other,besides all that I've never really even had a boyfriend...so all the attention is really new." I said in a rush blushing madly.

He smiled at me and his eyes stopped glowing. " your right we should take this slow,I don't want to make you uncomfortable." I smiled at him while he let me go. Jake had just walked through the door when he had let me go. "Lily as much as you might not like it your covered in blood, there's a shower down the hallway I'll go get you a change of clothes and once your done with washing up we need to discuss your sleeping arrangements." He said with a smile on his face. I looked down at my clothes they really where covered in blood. I looked back at them and blushed. "I'm sorry" I said embarrassed. They both smiled at me like I was adorable for being embarrassed. "Come with me and we'll get you some clothes to change into." I smiled at Jake and followed him to his room.
