Rant

Okay so it's not an update, but I am actually fuming!!!!!

I have just recently got a Rottweiler puppy, I got him at 2 month he is now 5 month. Anyway, my mum and sister was talking him for a walk and they seem a couple walking two full grown Rottweilers. My mum then asked them are they okay with other dogs and explained to them they have a puppy with them  and the owner said they was fine, (keep in mind the two grown dogs was off their lead).

Next thing one of the rottwilers comes charging at my puppy, and started to attack it. The woman who owned the dog had gone and put the other dog in the car luckily but the man only had one leg so he couldn't really do anything. My mum grabbed the dog that attacked mine, and took the risk of being attacked herself to save my puppy, and dragged it off my dog. Unfortunately, the bloody harness that the big dog was wearing then fucking snapped!!! 

Luckily by this point my sister had dropped the lead and my puppy ran away but the Rottweiler chased it, my sister then ran after them and scared the other dog away and got my dog safely. The woman them took her dog and apologies, and put her dog in the car, my mum tried to be nice to her and got some information about them. It turns out they have been warned before to keep the dogs on a lean and should have muzzles and have been banned off fields and parks as the dogs have attacked other dogs before, and the bitch had the cheek to say to my mum that it's fine with other dogs!

Thank god my puppy didn't get harmed, he is one of the softest dogs ever and wouldn't hurt anyone or anything, it had absolutely traumatised him, he got home and hid away behind a couch, he just keeps hiding and usually he is playfully and wants to sit on your knee, he will hopefully be himself again soon.

Hopefully my mum reports the situation. It's this type of thing that gives Rottweilers bad names, it isn't the dog it's how you raise them, with these types of dogs you have to let them know your in charge and  they isn't the boss or they will think they can do anything they want. we take my puppy to this training place it's for Rottweilers and German shepards, so we know how to train them. We are going to ask the man when we go to see if this will effect his training as we he will start doing protection for me, tracking and other stuff. Basically it trained them like a police dog but it's a little different.

The tracking is for like if you've lost something in woods, he would find them.  

The protection is for example if I am walking with him down the street and some man walks up to me and I feel threatened or he tries anything, I will say one word and my dog will bark, hopefully this will cause the man to back off, I could say other word to tell him to attack but we don't really advise that unless completely necessary.

Then their is obedience, which is basically making sure the dog behaves and is well trained.

I use to have another Rottweiler a few years ago before I got my puppy now obviously but the same thing happened to his as a puppy and he never really socialised with dogs after as it traumatised him, I just hope my dog still socialises. 

Sorry about this, I just had to get it off my chest and this is the only way I knew how other than snapchat and calling my friends in the group chats which I have done both and still feel fuming.
