“Guy’s I’m home” I shouted as I walked into the entry way. There was no response, so me being me I thought of the worst. I creeped around the corner waiting for someone to attack and out of the corner of my eye I saw something flash across the room. Moments later I felt hands wrap around my waist from behind. The intruder was on the floor pinned by me within less than a second. When I realized who it was I jumped up bringing them up with me and wrapping my arms around them.
“Klaus!” I yelled squeezing him even harder.
“I missed you too Veah” He said squeezing back. Just then Rebekah ran into the room.
“But I missed you more”
I screamed releasing my grip on Klaus and ran to Rebekah “ I missed you too Bekah”.
I stood back to look at both of them and noticed Damon leaning against the door frame.
“Did you know they were coming?” I asked directing it toward Damon.
“No they just showed up out of the blue much to my dismay” he replied with a mocking smirk.
That’s when I realized Stephan wasn’t there.
“Where’s Stephan?” I asked.
“Out with Elena”.
“Much to my dismay” I replied. With one last smirk Damon left the room. I then turned my attention back to my best friends.
“Don’t get me wrong I am ecstatic you guys are here, but what brought you to Mystic Falls of all places?” I questioned.
“We missed you and we are planning on reuniting our family and it wouldn’t be complete without you” Rebekah answered.
All I could say was “Aw, I love you guys” as I pulled them both in for a hug, but pulled away when I realized what they just said. “Wait, reuniting? As in unstaking them?”.
“Yeah, it’s finally time” Klaus said.
Before any of us could get another word in Elena and Stephan walked in the door.
“Great” I said rolling my eyes toward Rebekah and Klaus.
Stephan didn’t even acknowledge my comment. “What are they doing here?” he asked in a bitter tone.
“Their my friends, hey came to see me” I replied with the same attitude putting emphasis on ‘friends’.
“Okay, but in our house? Really? You know Damon and I hate them”.
“Feeling is mutual” Klaus jumped in.
I gave him the ‘stay out of it, you’re not helping’ look, then turned my attention back to Stephan.
“I hate her” I said pointing at Elena then continued “and she’s around all the damn time”. Stephan just stared at me.
“Well if looks could kill” Klaus began “anyways I wasn’t finished what I was saying before we were interrupted. We are actually going to be staying in Mystic Falls”.
“Really?” Stephan and I said at the same time, only I sounded excited and Stephan sounded frustrated and confused.
“Yup about five minutes away” Rebekah informed.
