"What are you drawing Gerard?" I ask trying to look over my best friends shoulder.
"A picture for halloween!" He says excitedly and sits back so I can see. The picture was a drawing of a bat eating candy.
"That looks cool Gee-Bear!" I hug him and look closer at the pretty picture. He blushes slightly.
"Thanks Frankie." He says quietly, no sooner does my teacher come up.
"Frank it is Gerard's lunch time, leave him alone. It's time to go back to class now, go get in line." The teacher says strictly to me. I frown at the last part.
"Okay, bye Gee-bear!" I yell as I run to my class line.
"Frankie! Wait a second!" I turn around and see Gerard holding out his picture.
"Its for you frank." He smiles and hands me the paper. I smile and hug him once I get the paper.
"Thanks Gee-bear! But I have to go now, see you after school!" I tell him then run after my class.
*end of flashback*
After twelve years, I still have the picture he gave me at Belleville elementary school. And I still remember in every single detail about that day. And I relive it everyday.
